Hallow-Ink Day 27- Jin Chan (Today's prompt was supposed to be the Flat-headed Cat, but I got mixed up lol). 😂 The Jin Chan (Golden Toad/Chan Chu), also known as the Money Frog or the Money Toad, is a mythical creature and the yin counterpart of Sanzuwu (the three-legged crow, representing the Sun, drawn during last year’s Inktober). This toad is said to appear during the full moon, near businesses or houses that will soon receive good news (usually wealth-related). It is usually depicted as a bullfrog with red eyes, flared nostrils and a single hind leg, for a total of three legs, with a Chinese coin in its mouth. On its back, it often has 7 diamond spots. 💎🐸💎

It is said that the Chan Chu was once a maiden who stole an elixir of immortality. She was punished by being turned into a three-legged frog and sent to live on the moon.
