Cells at Work Appreciation Week Day 2: Dendritic Cell’s photo album

Another really quick sketch. So sometime last year there was a study of some sort regarding the cells of the lungs, and one of the more shocking results that the scientists found was that there are special basophils that play a role in maturation and specialization of lung-specific macrophages known as alveolar macrophages. And after reading that part of the article, all I could think of was basophil being a good daddy and raising a bunch of little monoblasts to become alveolar macrophages. Dendritic Cell probably has a bunch of photographs of Basophil with his “daughters”, having tea parties, brushing and styling their hair, playing dressup, cleaning up after them, reading them bedtime stories, etc.
