A/N:Since  I don’t feel like writing currently I’ll post my drafts and try writing after the exam. Hopefully the carsituation will be resolved until then. we won’t have to sell it immediately but in the near future and I love chimchim :(

Y/N POV

You enter the concert hall after standing in the cold for more than 6 hours. You and your friends switched places so it wouldn’t be necessary for the two of you to stand in line the entire time. You’re wearing ripped skinny jeans and a comfortable hoodie – since Wonho said that he likes women in comfortable clothes. We stand somewhat close to the stage on the right side, and when they enter the stage we start screaming. I watch Wonho the entire time, looking at his clear movements, listening to his nice voice. He come close to the crowd every now and then and let’s them touch his hands. I miss being close to him, but I chose not to go to any high touch events anymore. It is healthier for me to let him go. And this will be my place to say good bye. This will be my last concert, because I cannot deal with admiring him from afar forever.

The boys start their second to last ment, preparing for beautiful, when Wonho takes the microphone, looking at the other members in question and they nod in agreement. “We would like to bring seven people onto the stage. This is the last concert on our tour, after that we will be preparing for a new comeback. This is our gift to you.” The guys all walk closer to the stage and point out people, resulting in loads of screams and squeals. Wonho walks over to your side and looks at the crowd, squinting his eyes – then he points directly at you. The bulky security man pushes his way through the crowd and guides you to the stage. The security man tries to lift you up but Wonho tells him to stop and lifts you up himself. Your eyes are teary as he smiles at you, leaning forward to whisper in your ear. “I won’t let go of you that easily. Don’t run. I will catch you.” There is a smile on his face that makes your knees quiver. They guide you to a few chairs and start performing the song to you. Wonho’s eyes never leave yours, his expression a mixture of sex on legs, want and fear.

When the song is over, all the girls are guided off stage – except for you. They sneakily bring you backstage and you watch the concert from back there, watching Wonho the entire time, your eyes glued to the side of his head, wanting to catch his gaze. When they walk backstage, his eyes immediately lock on yours and he brings you further back, hiding you from the curious eyes of the staff members and audience.

You feel your back pressed against a wall. He looks at you and you feel your heart speed up. “Please don’t. My heart can’t handle kissing you and then leaving you again forever.” Your voice is only a whisper, his hard body pressed against yours. “I won’t leave you. The members actually helped me go against our manager. He didn’t want me to talk to you. While we were on tour, I couldn’t forget your disappointed gaze. The hurt in your eyes.” He presses his soft lips against the curve of your mouth. You whimper as he lifts you up, your legs wrapping around his torso. He carries you as if you weigh nothing. “Kiss me.” You moan and he doesn’t wait for another second. He kisses your lips and holds you tight, your hands pressing against his solid chest, feeling his heart beat against your palm. “Y/N.” His voice is weak and when you look at him, you see tears in his eyes. “Hoseok. . ” His real name feels foreign on your tongue. Big tears roll down his cheeks, the sexy ‘Wonho’ only a far away memory. “I’m sorry for not recognizing you.” His voice is only a whisper. “It’s okay. We will make up for the lost time.” You brush his cheek and he presses you into his body.

“Wonho?” You don’t recognize the voice and when you look up, you see his manager. He looks livid and stomps over to the two of you.The manager raises his hand and it looks like he will grab your clothes to pull you away from him, when you hear a low growl coming from Wonho. “Touch her and I swear to whoever is holy to you, I don’t know what I’ll do to you if you touch her.” The manager’s eyes widen when he stares at him. “What is so important about her?” Hoseok carefully lets you down, guiding you behind his back, holding onto you. “She is my first love. I can’t believe I didn’t recognize her. I can’t believe she was scared to tell me. Do you really want me to leave this group?” Your eyes widen “Don’t!” you exclaim and he grabs onto your arms. The manager looks at the two of you and relaxes his stance. “This is not the end of it.” He mumbles and stomps off.

You press your hand to Hoseok’s rigid back. ”I won’t let you leave again.” He tells you once more. The other members creep around the corner. “Are you alright?” Jooheon looks at the pair of you and comes closer. “We should go back to the dorm. . .” he explains and you detach yourself from Hoseok “I will go back home.” You whisper and smile at him. “Come with us.” He grabs your hand and you hesitate. “I don’t really want to share a room with all of you.” Your voice is shy and you blush. “We actually moved dorms. I am sharing a room with Hyungwon.” His eyes are soft and he pulls you into you. “Please. Let me take you to the dorm.” You hesitate once more, but agree and let him take you to the dorm. Your yawn the entire way there and listen to the others joking and laughing in the van. “Hoseok. . .”You whisper and he immediately stops talking and focuses his attention onto you. “Just sleep. I’ll carry you inside.” You nod and cuddle into him, your body pressed against yours and you close your eyes and fall asleep.

 “Y/N. I need you to change.” You don’t want to wake up from the sweet dream you just had. You dreamt about Hoseok choosing you at the concert, taking you to his dorm. “I don’t want to wake up.” You mumble and curl into a ball. “Y/N I need you to put on comfortable clothes.” The voice sounds oddly familiar and your eyes flutter open. “Hoseok?” your voice is hoarse and you look at the beautiful man in front of you. “I need you to change so we can go to bed. ” You take the sweater from his hands and sit up. “The bathroom is over there. . ” He points at it and you stand up, kissing the corner of his lips. “You smell of ramen.” You tell him and he smiles. “I just had some. I was hungry after the concert. ” You smile and shake your head. “You always loved them.” You make your way over to the bathroom, taking your bag along with you. In the bathroom you change into the sweatshirt that reaches down to your mid-thigh. You see make-up wipes and use them to remove your make up. You also decide to remove your contacts and put your glasses on. You’ve never been to a fan meet without your contacts and are sort of shy about leaving the bathroom, but you do. Hoseok sits on the bed, wearing only sweatpants. “You wear glasses?” He looks at you and walks over to you, pressing you against the bathroom door, kissing you once move. “You look beautiful without make up. You always looked beautiful. Even though I didn’t recognize you, I always thought you were beautiful. That’s why I could remember you.” He drags you to bed and you make out heavily, until Hyungwon enters the room and makes disgusted noises. You then cuddle into Hoseok, falling asleep in his arms, his naked chest pressed into your back, his strong arms wrapped around your body, giving you the strength to go through everything that is going to happen

Part 3: Bullshit, bullshit, and.. oh look, more bullshit.

“That feels so good!” The girl beneath Hoseok moaned for what seemed like the millionth time that night. She was entirely too loud for his liking, but she had a nice face and a decent body. Besides, how loud she gets doesn't matter. So long as the boys don’t realize he's left the club early and decide to come looking for him, everything will be fine.

“Hoseok!” Hyunwoo’s angry voice yells through the small apartment the slam of the door echoing behind him

Did he just jinx himself? Seriously what are the chances, they've got to be slim to none. Hoseok quickly jumps from his position and throws a cover over the girl whose name he's a little bit too drunk to remember. Doesn't matter anyway, he probably won't be seeing her again.

“Heeeey hyung!” Hoseok slurs when Hyunwoo’s massive figure come into view. He tries his best to play up his drunkenness in hopes he’ll be cut a bit of slack.

“Cut the shit.We heard her from the hallway, you're completely naked, and there's a human shaped lump under your cover.” Hyunwoo sighs.

Hoseok’s face falls. Hiding the girl under his cover probably wasn't the best idea but thinking on his toes when drunk isn't really one of his strong suits. Hell had he been a bit more coherent and had the girl he was sleeping with not been so loud, he might've heard the door opening and thought to get dressed and hide her in a closet or under a desk. Speaking of said girl… after realizing her cover had been blown she flung the hot material from her naked body and stood proudly showing off her figure.

“Why?” Hyunwoo sighs again looking back and forth between Hoseok and the girl.

“She kicked me in my dick! I had to make sure it was still working properly!” Hoseok explains.

It was true to a certain extent. You had kicked him so hard he was worried his dick would stop working, but he'd quickly disproved that theory 10 minutes later in your bathroom.

“You probably deserved it,” Hyunwoo said. “You don't think! You're in a public relationship! What if someone had seen you take this girl home? What if she decides to go tell?”

“She's not gonna tell. Isn't that right sweetheart?” Hoseok coos at the still naked girl.

“Right! He explained everything.” She beams.

“Oh, he did?” Hyunwoo asks crossing his arms.

“Yeah. He was going to break up with her but they got outed. So he has to stay awhile longer. He really wants to be with me though. I just can't tell anyone about us.” She smiles looking at Hoseok.

Hoseok has a proud smile on his face, clearly, his explanation was impenetrable and no one would ever find out about this night's small escapade.

“You're a fucking idiot,” Hyungwon mumbles walking into the room and plopping down on a bed. “Can you get her out? I'm actually really tired.”

“The hell did you just say?” Hoseok asks, turning to face the younger man.

“Get her out.” Hyungwon repeats.

Hoseok scoffs, “You've been really disrespectful lately, you know that?” He says and moves toward him.

“Cut it out,” Hyunwoo says grabbing Hoseok's shoulder and stopping his attack. “Both of you. Hoseok, get the girl out of the here. Seriously, stop bringing them to the apartment.”

“Yeah, yeah,” Hoseok says waving his arm. “Come on baby girl, you've got to get dressed.”

The girl pouts but picks up her dress and underwear.

“Don't walk her down. That's how you and your girlfriend got caught.” Hyungwon warns.

“He’s still naked,” Changkyun says shaking his head from the doorway.

Hoseok looked down to see that he was indeed still naked. No more drunk sex. It's confusing and un-enjoyable.

Monday’s… The start of a new week but everything is kept the same for you. You're washed, fed, and out of the door at the same time, you are every other day.

“Hey, honey.” The librarian greets you with a smile as you walk in.

“Hey,” you wave back and stop at her desk. “Um… if that guy comes, can you just show him where I am?”

She crinkles her nose, “I don't like him for you.”

“Honestly I don't like him that much either.” You say and it makes the librarian laugh.

You're being honest. Although you're not exactly sure what, something about him rubs you the wrong way. It could be all the innuendos and his flirtatious behaviors. It's not something that you aren't used to. You've dated before and dealt with guys who were a bit similar but Hoseok seems to be an entirely different ballpark. It's the handsome aspect. The men you'd dated before weren't nearly as good looking as he is. They were horny high school boys with patchy beards and squeaky voices trying to get their nut off, at the time. You'd seen pictures posted on Facebook and Instagram showing how they'd grown up. A few of them were already married. Some of them had a kid or two. Most of them were in stable high paying jobs and constantly venting about their bosses or coworkers giving them shit. All of them looked nowhere near as handsome as Hoseok.

You'll give credit where it's due. The man has a smile that lights up a room and a body carved by Ancient Greek sculptors. He's a spectacle, a sight for sore eyes, simply put… he's fine as hell. He makes everyone around him look like Gollum in comparison. This could quickly become two pages about how attractive he is, so let's stop here.

You're already terrible at socializing. Long talks about life and actually getting to know people just isn't something for you, but it's a million times worse in his presence. Your mouth dries up, you can't look him in the eyes, and you fiddle with your fingers in your lap, snagged fabric from your sweaters takes longer to get rid of, and you suddenly realize how much you're in need of a manicure. It's only like that with him. Although you don't socialize you still know how to… well enough not to make yourself look like a fool. But socializing with Hoseok makes you look like a complete fucking idiot. You hate it. You hate talking to him.

You move toward to back of the library and wait for it to turn 9:15 so you could start your trip to your Psych class. Usually, you'd review work from Wednesday to refresh your memory, but today you can't seem to get yourself to focus. Saturday at your place with Hoseok… ugh!! You dropped your head feeling guilty. Of course, he'd been joking, girls flocked to him like birds to warm weather. Why on earth would he try to make a move on you? It was illogical. You didn't realize how much it would hurt him either. With your nervousness, you hadn't even measured the strength of your kick and just swung your foot forward. You kept giving the excuse of “it couldn't hurt that bad” to which Hoseok would shoot you a meaningful glare and hiss: “Shut up. I'm pretty sure you broke my dick.”

You shook your leg anxiously, worried about his health. Before you knew it your phone was vibrating with your alarm. You quickly packed up and made your way to class.

According to your plan, stares to the back of your head during class should have died down quite a bit. But as you sit in you psych class, you feel more eyes on you than ever. You think maybe it'll just take a little while longer for people to get over the news, but it happens all day long. Throughout campus, people will look at you and whisper to their friends. Some laugh, some shake their heads, and others just stare. Point is… everyone is looking. This isn't normal. Something had to have happened. You pull out your phone and press the internet app for the first time in 4 days. As soon as you hit enter for your search of ‘Monsta X Wonho’ news articles from portal sites flood the page.

“Wonho Cheating on Girlfriend”

“So let me get this straight.” Mary starts as she packs a box full of male clothes she has laying around her house. “He's paying you $10,000 dollars to be his ‘girlfriend’ for six months?”

“Yeah. Apparently, people would flip shit if they ever found out the reason he was really outside. Shirtless. At eleven o’clock.” You squint and take another shot of the alcohol Mary has so kindly laid out in front of you.

“He's a hoe,” Mary says. “And a stupid one at that. He should've known better than to sleep with a fan. There's no way in hell she's keeping that a secret. She wants to rub it in every other fans face like ‘I got oppa’s dick and you didn't!’ That type of thing.”

You had to agree. He's a dumbass. Obviously, you two aren't in an actual relationship but the rules of one still stood. And if he was going to cheat on you, he should've been way more careful as to not be caught.

“So, why do you need the clothes?” Mary asks as she throws a hoodie into the cardboard box.

“Got to make the breakup convincing.” You say and take another shot.

“That why you're getting drunk too?”

You nod, “I don't play a very convincing heartbroken drunk girl. I should at least be one of the two.”

Mary laughs, “Well I've found about as much as I can. The guy the belong to won't miss then so just… do as you please.”

For once in this whole elaborate ass plan, you hadn't thought everything out. Going to his apartment while you're drunk and handing him back his things would make a great story for any portal site and the news of your breakup would spread relatively fast. Problem is… you know the complex, just not the apartment number. Also… you're pretty shitfaced right now.

“Hoseok! Shin Hoseok!” You call as you stumble through the hallway the big box of clothes larger than you had expected it to be. “Shin Hoseok! You no good cheater, bring your ass out here!”

“Hey lady, shut the hell up!” A voice calls to you.

“You shut the hell up, I'm trying to find my boyfriend. Shin Hoseok!!!!” You yell.

A hand grabs your forearm and pulls you back. “Oh gosh, you're actually drunk.” The voice says.

You pout and look up to see a rather handsome guy staring at you. His face looks familiar but you can't exactly pinpoint where you've seen it before.

“Fourth floor. Apartment 426. Waking our entire apartment building isn't a very good idea.” He says and pulls you to the nearest elevator.

“Hey…” you start and blink a few times to focus your eyesight. “Do I know you?”

“You should. You're dating one of my members.”

“Ah! You're in Monsta X! I knew you looked familiar. Hey, did I seem brokenhearted enough? I'm too drunk to tell.” You admit.

He laughs, “It was an award-winning performance.” He says just as the elevator dings. You chuckle and make your way into the hall.

“Shin Hoseok you shithead!” You yell charging toward the end of the hall in search of apartment 426.

“It's right here!” The members voice calls and you quickly turn around and run toward him. He laughs and punches in the code to enter. You barge in behind him.

“Shin Hoseok!” You call and once again the member beside you laughs.

Hoseok’s head pops up from the sofa. “What are you doing here?” He questions as he stands and makes his way toward you.

“Saving face. I came to break up.” You say and push the box in his direction. “I figured bringing a box of your stuff would be convincing so I asked Mary for some help.” You pause and look up at him. “Let's break up.”

Hoseok smirks, “Sure okay. Let's break up.”

“I think you owe me something. Cash or check is fine.” You say and hold out your hand.

“What do I owe you?” He questions with a confused expression.

“The money you promised me for playing along.”

He laughs, “I said six months! If you think I'm paying you $10,000 for 4 days, you've lost your mind. In fact, you should probably be paying me… for breach of the contract or something!”

“It was a verbal agreement dumbass! And that's not fair! I would've done the full 6 months but you got caught cheating!” You whine.

“Yeah, I slipped up. But you're good at solving problems like this. You knew what would happen and what sites would report each day of our relationship. There has to be some situation in a book you've read before to fix this. I can't have the public hating me.”

You sigh, “I just came for the money.”

“You're not getting a cent from me until six months of us dating has passed.”

Bullshit.

“I suggest you start thinking of ways to get us both out of this.”

Bullshit.

“I'm serious. If you end things now I'm not giving you anything.”

 “I don't think I have ever been so graphically threatened a day in my life,” Hoseok says clutching his heart.                                   

Part 2: Eating out, and eating out. Because apparently there's a difference.

“Let's go for dinner tonight. As a first official date.” Hoseok says still seated across from you. He's been here watching you quietly as you finish assignments since your earlier conversation ended.

“Why? I already said I'd pretend to be your girlfriend.” You say. Apparently, it's a bit too loud for his liking. His eyes widen and he looks around to make sure no one heard before turning back to you with a too-sweet smile.

“To keep appearances.” He answers.

You sigh and close your book. “You've obviously never done something like this before so I'm gonna give you a little run down. Dinner with your girlfriend after the relationship was reported and not announced… not a good idea. Your fans will think you don't care, some of them may think you're rubbing it in, others might think you had the information leaked intentionally.

“Lay low for a couple of weeks. Small private dates that you tried to keep hidden but somehow were crashed. A half-assed disguise like a mask and a hat shows an attempt to keep things down low. People will find it admirable that you're still being considerate of your fans even in a relationship. Got it?”

“Yeah… I think so.” Hoseok says looking at you in disbelief.

“You coming here today was already a bit too much, but you can say you were worried about how I'd be feeling after the news broke. We’ll go on an ice cream date two days from now. Remember the mask and hat.”

“But no one will know it's us.”

“They'll know. I won't be wearing a disguise. And besides, anyone who wants more information on your hidden relationship will probably follow you from your apartment. The night after the ice cream date you'll sneak out to my house. ‘I really wanted to see her, it's been so tough away from her these past few days, blah blah blah’. Play it up. You're young and in love,” you finish and begin packing your bags. “You're walking me home today too. Kiss my cheek at the door and get the hell on. That's another thing, we should set some boundaries here.”

Hoseok rose an amused eyebrow at you, “We should?”

“Yes. Although I've agreed to this I won't be your little play thing. We should be strictly professional at all times.”

Hoseok laughs, “We both know I wouldn't have to pay you to be my play thing.”

You roll your eyes and flip him off. His eyes widen and he looks around. “Careful.” He says in a harsh whisper.

You finishing packing your things and raise from your seat. “C’mon. It's 9 o’clock.”

Your walk home was filled with conversation. Back and forth information sharing. You told him the basics about your family. You let him know your major and class schedule. Your hobbies, your neighbor, you told him everything. He knows more about you than people you've shared classes with for the past two years.

“This is it.” You say as your apartment comes into view.

“I'll walk you up,” Hoseok says.

“There's no need to.”

“I insist.”

“Well, I decline.”

He huffs his frustration, “Too bad.” He says and walks past you into the door for your apartment building.

You stare at his retreating figure in shock. Pouting, you follow behind him quietly. He has no clue where he's going, though. You smirk as he stops at the stairs confused on whether or not to take them or continue down the brightly lit hallway he's been walking down. You scoff and purposely bump his shoulder as you walk past. You can hear him suck his teeth from behind you but nonetheless, he follows closely.

Two flights of stairs later and you're finally on your floor. Hoseok is the quietest he's been since showing up at your school and you appreciate the silence. However, it's quickly broken.

“Miss lady, you got some splaining to do!” Your neighbor says as she walks out of her apartment. A lit cigarette is hanging from her lips as she pulls the string in her silk robe to tighten it. She looks from you to Hoseok and takes a long drag of her cigarette. “The fuck is he?” She squints before blowing out her smoke.

“He's a-” you start only to be interrupted.

“I'm her boyfriend.” Hoseok jumps in quickly.

Your neighbor laughs a bit, “So the Internet tells the truth sometimes? Here I am thinking they're slandering my baby girl’s good name.” She says as she pulls your head down to her shoulder and lightly strokes your head.

You laugh and twist out of her grip.

“Hey, you ungrateful little shit. You get a boyfriend and suddenly my affection isn’t enough?!” She smirks and places her cigarette back to her lips.

“Of course it's enough, Mary.” You say playfully pouting.

“Yeah yeah yeah, you kiss ass.” She pulls the bud from her lips again and laughs. “Well, I was going to ask if it's true, but I can see it is. That bullshit stalker story you gave me yesterday. You could've just said the dick was too good to walk away at 9 last night.” She smirks.

“Jeez, Mary. That's disgusting.” You huff and fold your arms.

“Excuse me?” Hoseok says looking quite offended. “You weren't saying it was disgusting last night.”

Mary laughs, “You've played it up too much. I can tell you two haven't done anything” She winks. “Anyway, take care of her. She's a fucking angel and if you break her heart, I'll shove your balls up through your asshole and make them come out of your mouth. Got it?” Mary asks pointing her cigarette in his direction. She takes another drag before throwing it down and stomping to put it out. Before she even receives an answer, she's walking back into her apartment. The door slams behind her and fills the once quiet hallway with a loud bang.

“I don't think I have ever been so graphically threatened a day in my life,” Hoseok says clutching his heart.

You laugh and enter the code to get into your apartment.

“1-2-3-4? Are you kidding me? You need to change your code.” Hoseok reprimands you.

“It's easy to remember.” You shrug.

“Yeah, it's also easy to guess.” He rolls his eyes. “Change it to today’s date. Our official first day.”

“No.” You answer with an eye roll of your own.

You walk in and turn to face him. “Smile on your way out.”

“Give me something to smile about.” He smirks.

You stare at him blankly for a moment, “That's actually not a bad idea.” You note and swipe two fingers across your lipstick stained lips. The pigments transfer to your fingers easily and you roughly wipe your fingers across Hoseok's lips.

“Jeez!” He sputters and jumps away from you.

You smirk and close the door in his face.

“Why ice cream?” Hoseok asks as he picks a small bit up on the small spoon in his hand.

“Because it’s delicious.” You answer with your mouth full. “It also gives you a reason to drop your mask every now and then.”

Hoseok scrunches his nose, “Careful before it melts and falls from your mouth.”

You close your mouth and swallow the melting contents. Hoseok laughs and grabs a napkin.

“You’re a terribly messy eater.” He says wiping at your face. You pout and smack his hands away. With a roll of his eyes, he’s dropping the napkin and scooping at his own ice cream.

He’s kind of just playing with it and for some reason, it pisses you off.

“If you’re not gonna eat it then just give it to me.” You huff.

Hoseok looks at up at you through his lashes but doesn’t say anything. He drops his mask and brings the spoon to his lips.

It’s quiet between you two for awhile. Neither one of you really feels the need to talk. What can be said at this point? It was like that on the way to the ice cream shop as well. He’d slung his arm around you and smiled but other than that you guys weren’t really talking. It was a bit awkward. You played your role nonetheless. After a few minutes of silence passed you thought about how anyone watching this scene would think you two are total strangers. You are, but as far as most of the world is concerned you’ve been dating for four months already.

You wordlessly take your spoon and dig into Hoseok’s ice cream. He looks at you confused as you plop the spoon in your mouth.

“Did you want the ice cream that bad?” He asks.

You roll your eyes, “Take some of mine.” You say and offer him the bowl. He hesitates but takes some anyway. “It’s good right?”

He shrugs, “I just like plain vanilla.”

“That’s so boring.” You scoff.  

“Isn’t it?” He laughs. “I’m not that interesting.”

“The guy who needs a fake girlfriend for 6 months is saying he isn’t interesting?”

He laughs again, “Hard to believe, right?”

It’s quiet again for awhile. You two go on eating your separate ice creams and looking aimlessly out of the window.

“Hey, how come you never asked why?” Hoseok suddenly questions.

“Why what?” You say as you place another spoonful of ice cream in your mouth.

“Why I needed to lie.”

You shrug, “It wasn’t my business.”

He scoffs, “You’re involved in a lie but it’s not your business?”

“Look you’re paying me to keep my mouth shut, the less I know the better. Right?” You ask looking at him expectantly. He says nothing and drops his head back to his bowl of ice cream. You look at him a bit longer before doing the same, “Besides,” You start and gain his attention.

“Besides, what?” He asks.

“I just figured it had something to do with the girl that ran out before I ran in.”  You answer and go on eating the treat that’s quickly melting in front of you.

“Stay for 30 minutes.” You tell Hoseok the next night.

He’s at your house like you two had discussed at the library. The ice cream date had gone over like you’d predicted. Portal sites posted articles about your small date with tons of pictures connected. They’d caught moments of Hoseok smiling and the small scene you’d given when you stole a little of his ice cream.

“How did you know everything would go so smoothly… that all of that would happen?” Hoseok questions as he plops down on the first chair he finds.

You shrug, “I read a lot.”

“You read? Am I supposed to believe that? Hey… you’ve done something like this before, haven’t you?” He asks wagging an accusatory finger at your back.

“If I had, don’t you think they’d reference my ex in all of the articles being put out?”  

He frowns and drops his finger. You’ve got a point. They’d pulled information about you from thin air. Had you ever dated a celebrity before, he would’ve known about it by now. But it still makes no sense. How are you so knowledgeable on every move he needs to make? So far, he hasn’t received any negative backlash for the scandal. People called him a sweet boyfriend for checking up on you the day the news broke and they gushed over the pictures of the ice cream date.

‘We all knew Wonho oppa would make a great boyfriend.’

‘They’re such a well-matched couple.’

‘I hate to say but they look very good together.’

‘She seems like an okay person.’

You’d even managed to save your own face in the public eye. No one had anything negative to say about you. They all sympathized with how hard it must’ve been to keep the relationship a secret. There were a few angry people but they were far outshined by the supportive ones.

You decided not to consult the internet much for the next 6 months. For the sake of your own self-confidence. How brutal fans could be when their idols have confirmed dating is no secret, and you didn’t need to see someone pointing out flaws you already know exist.   

You and Hoseok use the 30 minutes to quietly watch television. IT moves quickly and soon he’s getting up to leave.

“How often do you eat out?” You quickly ask. You have to plan outings and dates for the next 6 months, and knowing his usual habits could help quite a bit.  

“Eat out, or eat out?” He says with a wiggle of his eyebrow.

Confusion is written clear across your face as you stare at him, “You just said the same thing twice.”

“Yeah, but-” He starts but stops to look at you with his own confused expression. “Hey, are you a virgin?” He quickly asks.

“No.” You answer with a roll of your eyes.

“Then how do you not pick up on all my innuendos?”

You clear your throat, “Ahhh. I get what you were saying now. I meant the nonsexual one.

The confused look is still on his face. “Has no one ever...?” He leaves the question hanging.      

“That’s not really important.”

He laughs and quickly drops his shoes and coat. “Want me to?” He asks as he drops a knee onto your bed and begins to crawl toward you. He connects his eyes with yours as he moves forward

You swallow quickly and avert your eyes. “No.”

He laughs, “It’s okay if you do.” He says and rests one of his hands on your ankle.

“If you come any closer I’ll kick you square in the balls.” You threaten and close your eyes tight. A hand sits purchase on your thigh and a very nervous you lets out a squeak before swinging your foot up.

“Fucking hell!” You hear Hoseok groan and open your eyes. Both of his hands move to cup his lower region and he falls from your bed to the floor with a loud thump. “ I was fucking kidding!” He calls.

Your eyes open wide in shock. You jump to the floor and hesitantly pat at his shoulders, “Oh my gosh, I didn’t mean to actually kick you!” You say in a bit of a panic.

“Shit!” Hoseok groans again rolling from side to side.

What the hell just happened?

A/N: It was sort of just a filler chapter. You might still like Hoseok now but you'll start hating him soon enough. And what do you guys think about Mary? With such an introverted character I figured someone loud and outspoken would compliment them well. Anywho, hope you enjoyed. :)

“Come on, Changkyun!” You whined pulling his arm toward your family’s front door.

He laughs at your enthusiasm. As Changkyun is your best friend, he’s been over several times. He’s also no stranger to your family. Over the years he’d gotten quite close to your mother and father. The only person he hadn’t met is your sister. Both of them are quite important to you, so wanting them to meet is only natural. Of course, Changkyun is your best friend, and your relationship with your sister has always been a good one. Although she’s two years older than you, the two of you had always been close growing up. She left the state for college 3 years ago, and only visits periodically now. You’d tried to introduce them during her last visit, but the timing never seemed to be right. Changkyun and your sister canceled more times than you could count, excuses coming from both ends. Eventually, you’d given up, vowing to have them meet the next time she was in town. Which is now! Her plane had landed less than 2 hours ago, while your parents went to pick her up from the airport you worked on talking Changkyun to come over for a visit.

“I actually have plans a little later.” He stated. Oh no. No bailing this time.

“This won’t take long! You can meet her and go if you want!” You’d pleaded.

Not one to withstand your puppy face, Changkyun gave in pretty easily, and that’s how you two ended up here. With you pulling him toward the door so he could meet the only other person beside him you considered to be important in your life,

“Y/SN!” You called in a sing-song tone once you’ve entered. Changkyun laughed from behind you.

“Y/N!” Her voice called before she jumps into sight.

Her eyes widened in shock as she saw Changkyun behind you, but she was quick to fix it, plastering a smile on her face and launching herself toward you. You wrapped your arms around her and returned her embrace. After a few shrieks and squeals, you pulled away and turned to Changkyun.

“This is my sister Y/SN. Y/SN, this is my best friend Changkyun.” You smiled.

They held their hands out to one another and shook, “It’s great to finally meet you, Y/N speaks really highly of you.” Y/SN says.

“Likewise.” Changkyun smiled.

“You two go on the porch, go talk!! I’m gonna grab some snacks.” You beamed and left before either of them could reply.

You quickly grabbed whatever snack within your reach. The dorky smile never left your face as you waddled towards the porch with the snacks and drinks tucked firmly in your arms. You saw Changkyun just casually talking to your sister, looking serious, but you just brushed it off since he always looks so serious. 

“Yeah, but she can-..” You barely heard your sister reply to him as he cut her off. 

“Y/N! You’re gonna drop something!” Changkyun sighed with a quiet whine as he stood up and walked up to you. Taking some stuff out of your arms, you two walked out onto the porch. You sat in the middle, your best friend on your left and your sister on your right. You glanced in between the both of them as the awkward silence grew. 

“So, what were you two talking about?” You asked, trying to start a conversation, but as soon as the question rolled off your tongue, the two began to quickly say different topics. You looked at both of them, the confusion clear on your face. 

“O..kay then?” You squinted and shrugged. Between the three of you, small talk came and went. At one point, you kept trying to find excuses to leave, but before you could say an excuse, Changkyun beat you to the punch. 

“Uh, I gotta go. I have practice.” He quickly mumbled and tried to walk off quickly. 

“Wait!” You exclaimed and stood up. “You’re still sleeping over right?” You saw him visibly tense up. 

“Um, are your parents okay with that?” You heard him sigh softly before turning around to look at you. 

“Yeah, they’re always okay with that. Plus, they have a dinner party to go to so they won’t be home till late.” You explain with a hint of disappointment and confusion in your voice. 

“T-Then yeah. I’ll come.” He gave you a small smile before looking towards your sister and sighing. You and your sister saw him walking away, running his hand through his hair. 

“What was that about?” You ask, turning to look at your older sister. You expected a reply but you only got a shrug. Sighing, you two spent the rest of the afternoon together. 

A knock on the front door made you pause the video game you and your sister were playing. 

“Give me a sec. It might be Changkyun.” You say, not hiding your smile. You went and opened the door only to see him carrying a duffle bag, most likely having pajamas, movies, and different snacks. He greeted you with a small wave and a smile. You returned the greeting with a tight hug. 

“So, what have you done all afternoon?” He asked as he walked into the house with you by his side after closing the door. 

“Nothing much. Just some casual competitions between sisters.” You say, looking towards your sister. She looked up from her phone and looked towards your direction. She and Changyun held eye contact for a split second before he turned to look at you. 

“I’m gonna put my stuff up in your room, okay?” He asked, not really expecting an answer and walked up the stairs. You shrugged and continued your game with your sister. Changkyun came downstairs in the middle of the game, just quietly sitting beside you. You groan at the TV and lean your head back. 

“I win! Again!” Your sister flaunts. Changkyun, on the other hand, looks at how you’re being a sore loser and takes the control away from you while laughing at your pout. 

“My turn.” He smiles and starts playing with your older sister For the rest of the night, the three of you kept playing until your sister yawned and stood up.

 “It’s getting late, we should all go to bed.” She smiled sleepily at you. 

“Awe, one more round?” You asked, with a smile. “Tomorrow, promise. The both of you also should go to bed.” She chuckled started to make her way up the stairs. 

“Okay, mom!” You teased and lowered the volume to the TV. Only to continue playing until both you and Changkyun started to feel sleepy. Yawning, he helped you clean the living room a bit before the both of you walked up the stairs to your room.

“So, it seemed like you got along with Y/SN.” You smiled as you sat down on the edge of your bed, looking at your best friend, who had his back to you as he changed. 

“I guess.” 

“Why do you say that? You two acted like you guys known each other for a while now.” 

“I just acted like that so I won’t make you upset."He said, raising his voice. 

"Make me upset? You’re the one that sounds upset.” 

“I’m just tired, okay?” He said, trying hard to raise his voice again. 

“Fine.” You sighed and grabbed your pajamas then went to go get changed in the bathroom. It wasn’t unusual that you and Changkyun had an argument. You two have multiple arguments because you both have strong personalities. But it did surprise you that he suddenly got so defense over the simple subject. Sighing, you got changed then walked back to your room. You saw Changkyun sitting against the foot of your bed, texting on his phone. 

“Who are you texting?” You ask softly, Changkyun barely even heard you. 

“Um, Hoseok.” He hesitated before mumbling and putting down his phone. “Hey, I’m sorry for acting like a dick, kind of. Before you left.” He stood up, leaning against your bed as he apologized. 

“Forget about it. Let’s just go to sleep, yeah?” You turned around and gave him a small smile so he doesn’t continue to think that you’re mad at him. 

“Okay.” He sighed and went to go lay down as you turned off your light. Then you got to think about the argument again. Yeah, the fight was stupid. If you could even call it a fight. You turned your light on, making Changkyun groan because he was about to fall asleep. 

“What?” He whined. 

“Why did you tense up when I asked to make sure that you were staying the night? And why did you and my sister always make awkward eye contact?” 

“Because I just met her.” He mumbled and turned away from you, hoping you would just leave it there. 

“I know Y/SN was dating someone but she hasn’t told me how it is.” You point out. 

“Are you saying that I’m the one dating her? I just met her!” He sat up on your bed. 

“I was-…” He cut you off before you could finish. 

“I don’t know why we’re even having this conversation.” Changkyun stood up and shook his head. 

“Where are you going?” You asked as he made his way out your bedroom door. 

“I’m going to sleep downstairs. Goodnight.” He said kinda angrily and shut your door, harder than he should’ve. 

You sighed, knowing that you most likely should’ve been smarter about everything. You were tempted to go downstairs and apologized, but it would’ve made things worse since he was still angry. You shook your head at yourself and turned off the lights. You didn’t fall asleep right away but soon enough. 

The next morning, you woke up a little on the later side, but you knew you still needed to apologize. You basically sprung out of bed, as you got dressed, you started to think: “I should tell him how I feel. But it could make things worse. The chances anytime would 50/50. Might as well just do it, huh?” You fixed your hair quickly as you made up your mind.

You'd had a crush on your best friend for quite some time. It started off completely platonic. In fact, in the beginning, you'd found him undatable. He was mostly quiet and extremely awkward, which you found off-putting. It almost seemed as though he didn't want to be your friend. After taking the time to get to know him you couldn't help but be attracted to him. He was kind and childlike. He made you smile with lame jokes.Your heart skipped a beat with every encouraging word that left his lips. He was everything a good boyfriend should be, but he wasn’t your boyfriend. Yet... With any luck, your confession would go over smoothly and it’d be a happy ending for the two of you. The prospect of finally dating Changkyun made you giddy with glee. You’d rationalized why the confession needed to happen now, over and over in your head, before yanking your bedroom door open and stepping out into the barren hallway.

Walking out of your room, you took so many deep breaths, that you couldn’t even tell if it was helping to slow down your rapid beating heart. You heard some quiet talking, but since you were standing in front of your sister room, you assumed that she was just on the phone with a friend. You walked downstairs, slowly trying to think of a simple way to explain everything to your best friend. Midway on the stairs, you were about to call out to Changkyun, but what you saw in the living room made you want to run out of your house instead. 

“So I was right.” You said loud enough for the couple to hear and not your sleeping parents. Changkyun, who was basically making out with, the only other person you trusted, your sister, pulled away quickly as soon as he heard your voice. 

“I can explain!” He exclaimed quickly as he saw the tears in your eyes. 

“Don’t. I get it.” You sighed shakily, and rushed out of the house, slamming the door behind you. You weren’t really at them, more at yourself. You felt so stupid that you couldn’t see their relationship. You had the signs, so why couldn’t you see it? At this point, tears were streaming down your cheeks, your mind was running with all of these hints that were making their relationship obvious. You heard Changkyun yelling your name behind you. Not wanting to see the only person that broke your heart, you ran faster than turning around the corner, losing him behind you.
