In this monster au, Pearl clansmen are a type of werewolf, which they call furs. When they come of age, they choose to get bitten by an Alpha Pokémon under the full moon and begin undergoing transformations at night, with their transformations at their height under the full moon and at their weakest when there is no moon.
Ingo, being a mix of many types of Pokémon, has pretty inconsistent changes most nights, usually ending with the same form on the full moon but having characteristics from only a few random Pokémon closer to the new moon. For example, Ingo does not typically have Gliscor wings or a fully developed second set of Machamp arms, but it may happen on occasion.
Ingo initially did not want to become a fur and resisted being inflicted by the transformation for many years, but he has grown to like his new body and is interested in learning what new abilities it gives him.
