Of not trying to banish my darkness but learning to invite it in. Honesty hour: This goes out to my girl friends. And to my recent ex friendships : Why do some women spend more time gossiping about other women, than reading books? Or working on real skills? Can this time be better spent? Why do some women accuse the other women of slanderous sexual behavior? And insist it is the truth when they made it up entirely? Why do certain women downplay the intelligence of other women? Do they understand this encourages inequality? Life isn’t a competition. . Pursuing a spiritual lifestyle does not mean you try to be perfect. It does not mean you allow someone to shit all over you, and then kiss their feet when they finish. I do not consider myself perfect. I consider myself to be a seeker, and if my words and actions inspire others then I am also a leader. I'm not sure why some ex friends believed it was okay to be so critical and slanderous of me- but their actions proved who they were. Their happiness when I was having problems should have been my clue to GTFO. It was not okay to OBJECTIFY me. It is not okay to shame other me for what i choose to WEAR, or not wear- My HAIR, My level of BEAUTY, OR MAKEUP It is not okay to try to convince other people that i am stupid, while copying my work and my words. To these women: Shape the fuck up. Pay attention to your fucking time. Pay attention to what you DO know. And stop listening to that crazy voice in your head or your crazy subconscious dreams.
