Strap in; it’s a really, really long post. Everyone you see in the gif [ Tumblr doesn’t like my gifs so if they freeze, blame Tumblr ] is included in the au. They’re all part of a crime organization and is in the business of making money. Obscene amounts of money.
So, congratulations on getting transferred here. You’re what, a newbie? Guess they haven’t given you a specific department to work at yet. Anyways since you’re going to be here you might see some of us from time to time. Just do your job and don’t piss anyone off, got it? We take our work very, very seriously around here.
Johnny
Cold hearted & calculated. He is the one with final say over certain decisions in this branch. Obviously, he has someone higher to report to but as of now, he is the one with administrative control.
Taeyong
They don't call him Eyes for nothing. Taeyong is the one detecting fakes of any kind- but most importantly, money. Physical cash goes through him first and is subjected to a number of tests to detect counterfeits. Gifted with keen eyes, he's able to pick out details from things you'd think would have nothing to do with the situation at hand. Taeyong is one of the trusted members of the organizations due to how high security it is. Gaining his trust will not be easy, especially for those who would like to... cause some trouble.
Taeil
Subject to a butt of a few age jokes, Taeil is nothing to laugh at. [ Ok, except for friendly banter. That's ok for you to laugh at. ] Held up to high standards, Taeil is expected to fill in for roles in case something happens to the ones that had them. He is their back-up, per se. Besides that, he works in security and testing for weaknesses in the organization. While not holding a role as high profile as Taeyong or Johnny's, Taeil is allowed certain levels of clearance.
Haechan
Research department. It's commonly joked about that the research department sit around on their asses staring at computer screens but their job is to... research. Obviously. About what? Well, no one knows for sure. All that is kept under lock and key. While not the head of the research department, Haechan moves the process along by double checking and cross-referencing. He's not at the bottom of the pecking order, per se, but certainly not at the top. Some say that he can make a mean cocktail- it seems like mixtures are his thing. Also, don't fuck with his shit or he'll fuck you up. Fuck you up as in walking into a room only to have a bucket of water dumped on your head or finding that all the keys on your keyboard have been switched around and now you're late to a meeting because the cabinet where your files are has been rearranged into a vulgar symbol.
Yuta
The absolute madman. Yuta has been transferred into this branch in order to keep things in check. He has a large presence and all attention is focused on him when he walks in. Yuta carries around an air of arrogance and you can tell just by the way he walks. He doesn't have a set job but it seems like he's Johnny's watchdog and has a good skillset to match it. All suspicious activity is reported to Johnny first and foremost, so be careful about what you say around Yuta.
Mark
A) This man will set fire to your house
B) Is slacking when it looks like he's doing hard work but works when it looks like he's slacking
Mark does things at his own pace. While some deadlines are inevitable, he's been given some leeway on due dates because he works better on his own time. Mark is part of the research team although his roles are subject to change depending on whatever he's supposed to be working on. Can be found at vending machines and taking a nap in the supply closet. Also has that one catchphrase he uses for himself but no one remembers it
Jaehyun
Mark's partner in crime. If you see Mark, you bet Jaehyun's in the area as well. Jaehyun leans more on the empathetic side of things, making his insight somewhat unnecessary (job first, emotions later). Some wonder why he's here in the first place. Jaehyun is a normal member of the branch and more of an intern in a sense. Except that interns can leave anytime they want and Jaehyun really can't unless he's willing to sacrifice something. Who knows? Maybe he knows something all of us don't.
Jungwoo
Voted most likely to kill you in your sleep- by everyone in the office. Jungwoo is a "cleaner" and the quotation marks tell you everything about his job, honestly. Jungwoo never sticks around, always moving to new locations so the others don't see him that much. Highly skilled and trained, he acts as a bodyguard when not given any other sort of work.
Doyoung
Does... does he even exist? Doyoung is almost a ghost, moving around effortlessly and somehow not making noise when goddamnit dress shoes are probably the most uncomfortable thing ever created for men. Has the innate ability to see past your bullshit and much like Yuta commands respect whenever he walks in. Although that last part is debatable since it's more like hey-he's-finally-back-we-should-pay-attention. No one really knows what he does, so most think he has some sort of high ranking job that forces him to disappear.
Sicheng
Office prince. How did he even get here in the first place? It seems like he'd get lost on his way to the grocery store or something, much less get involved with one of the most dangerous groups in Korea. Some describe Sicheng as innocent while Taeyong simply says "Childish." Or maybe that's just part of the façade to lower your guard. Sicheng is someone you can place your trust in easily and it's easy to see why. Just spend ten minutes with him and he'll brighten up your mood- But it really makes you wonder if he's hiding something else under that cute personality.
