So quick question. Does anyone else think it would be vainglory to want a commission for a fanfic you wrote? I feel like it is but I still really want to see art of the tingle beating heart....

I need to get an answer
Was Steve Rogers in the right for going into the past?
Yes, he was in the right
No, he was in the wrong
No, he wasn't in the right or wrong
Too complex for a yes or no
Neutral
WHY do you think that?
Hero or Murderer?
So, last night, I watched 2004ās Van Helsing, featuring Huge Jackman ask the titular character and I gotta say that it had got me thinking about if Van Helsing is a hero or a murderer since monsters are portrayed as humanoid, or once human, so that gives the audience something to think about. The moral question; Is Edward Van Helsing a hero for killing vampires, werewolves, and so on. These are framed as monsters to us, attacking innocent people, with Dracula attacking to feast on human blood. So, that gives the moral some moral grey area of what the titular character is doing, and since heās backed by God and the church, which we know that the church can be corrupt. So this movie is making us ask the question, Is Edward Van Helsing a hero or a murderer? Because heās considered both, and in his own words āA bit of bothā. Heās wanted by the police, the town hates him, and even his own love interest lashes out after finding out he tried to kill her brother after the man had turned into a werewolf. So Iām asking this. If youād seen 2004ās Van Helsing,
Do you consider Van Helsing to be a
Hero
Murder
Both
Is Van Helsing more hero, than murder or more murderer than hero?
Opening up a moral question because I recently saw another post (and commented mostly out of curiousity), but couldn't say everything I wanted. The post was talking about the implicit white bias of shipping Kit x Elora, but more specifically of shipping Kit x Elora *over* Kit x Jade.
Here's where my opinion comes in, but I shall preface this by giving a few things about me as a person: 1. I am white. 2. I am sapphic and attracted to girls who look like Jade, if I'm being completely honest. 3. I like the enemies to lovers trope as much as the best friends to lovers trope, if not more. 4. I am deeply in love with my best friend, so I suppose... you can take that into consideration, too, if it matters.
My issue is I completely understand the argument that it's good to show female friendship dynamics in a show, and that Graydon x Elora is a great ship, and that (I very obviously agree, I am feral for this ship) Jade x Kit is a lovely, beautiful, 100% perfect lesbian ship...
I am poly. Sapphic poly romances are not common. Is it wring that I ship more than just the main couple? For me, shipping almost of them fulfills the part of me that loves and needs a dynamic of three or more. In my opinion, this is not shipping a white on white ship more than an interracial ship, but simply seeing and loving the small little spark of a possibility of an interracial lesbian throuple? Is that like, wrong? I'm not always sure what is right in a moral debate like this, or if there is a right. I'd love the Willow fandom's opinion, both negative, positive, and shades of grey.
And yes, I do also ship Graydon and Elora, and platonically ship Kit and Graydon, as they would be great royalty friends, imo. On that note, I do also ship Kit and Elora in both a platonic and romantic way, as well as have a wild soft spot for Kit/Jade/Elora (The I would lay my life down for you vibes from Kit and Jade to Elora as well as between Jade and Kit, and the I see you as valuable and see and want to understand your pain between them all is weakening my heart). Kit x Jade is my favorite ship, possibly ever.
My parent doesn't think that giving a vegan meat is bad.
I said it violates their consent, if you know very well that they don't eat meat for whatever reason, it severs that consent and trust by giving them something they don't agree with.
They said "it's a good idea. I'd be saving them."
Just because you eat meat doesn't mean you can give it to others without telling them so. It's quite frankly alarming and disturbing that someone would willingly give something to someone they go against entirely.
Tumblr, vegans/vegetarians and even meat eaters, help me out here.
Is it okay to purposely give a vegan meat if you KNOW that they don't eat it?
Watching the New Jurassic World had me thinking
First thing, I didn't like it and that's coming from someone who adores the series. It's like "welp, bad guy got away again. See ya next time in the 7th film". I won't go to much into detail cause of spoilers, but the writing was so poor. The romance was weak, the humour was delivered at the wrong time, and key points didn't get a lot of time spent on. Anyways, to save you guys money; skip this movie and watch it when it comes out later on dvd. Also, before the film began there was this trailer for another (forgot the name) where it said " People do bad things for good reasons", it really got me thinking to Lotor's situation. We really never got into a whole lot of detail or an explanation of why he was doing what he did. I'm sure it's more than 'cause I'm evil and must do something to be a villian'.
Should I leave a server if multiple people support endogenic systems or would it be morally okay to stay....cause I really like the community and shit...
No the server isn't about systems or anything of the sort but it has multiple in there.
(If this sounds stupid fine but I'm suspecting OCD for a reason and am getting seriously anxious over this)
The Shifting Landscape of the Abortion Debate in Republican Politics
The Evolving Abortion Debate in Republican Politics If there is one takeaway from the Republican discourse during this election cycle, it is their apparent desire for the issue of abortion to fade into the background. Notably, former President Donald Trump, who just eight years ago suggested that women who sought abortions should face āsome kind of punishment,ā has now pivoted to discussingā¦
