•Unlike other trencendent C'tans, I think it talks sometime. Cause HE DON'T KNOW HE IS GOD NOW. For same reason, I think it usually takes visibly SMALL form just like it once was.

• The Clarity / The Madness. Yes, it will suddenly appears in front of you and give you some advice to win. But that advice might make you crazy and have to roll 2d10 for Sanity check when you trying to analize. So don't try to analysis its advice. JUST DO IT AS WHAT IT SAID

• Unlike That one in TIATD, I think it does and trying to do chitchat with lessers. I think its chitchat is totally sounds/feels/looks like simillar with wernicke’s aphasia patients those, Or sometimes they are riddles that make sense but are extremely difficult to interpret. Maybe, perhaps he don't even know what he even saying although there is the sapient in it. Only it will know....or not. But somehow you might understand it's word. But BE CAREFUL, IT IS INSANITY ITSELF although it is clarity too. Long-time chitchat or trying to fully understand it's saying make you gone insane.

•I was actually planning on mixing the design of this with Obyron cause official confirmed they are... you know. But I just stopped. This is pretty extreme to do/be and before those, dead should stay dead(Again, cause I interpret transformation as rebirth.)(According to TIATD, After the ritual, it seems like the one who transformed almost completely loses memories of their relationships with others. Like rebirth. Think of ■■■'s case. it could still remember its rival's laughing sound, but it couldn't remember who was that rival. I see "transformation" as the death/change of the self that has been constructed in the relationship. And.. If you want to be a god, then you have to die.) and the alive should keep live on. I hadn't been paying attention much lately (been sick, tired, etc) but I'd love a go if any of nyall are interested!

Gonna have a go at the first batch of facts! Currently at 14! Now at 22

Up to 29 (because a certain weasel's like counts for five)

Gaius is sorta intended to be designed as the old-head take on neurodivergence: he is very very eccentric by Iron and charr standards in general, but he's developed methods of accomplishing his tasks, so most of the time it's not really a bother. Unless you're new and kinda offended by his everything. But the point is that he has a tendency to project how "well" he handles his own issues onto others, at least early on.

Most of his cubs are also super neurospicy; some handle it better than others.

Although I imagine charr are able to have a somewhat diverse, if restricted, diet compared to other races, they do still have social expectations on them-- Gaius doesn't give a shit about anything he ingests as long as it meets nutritional needs. (Hero points and whatever else you can think of are canon to him)

Horncleaver had a warband prior to the iteration of the Horns that is involved in the story. I simply don't have the desire to develop them, but they do exist-- they're all engineers. They do technically still answer to him.

Gaius is sorta the dad of Dragon's Watch, because between the Horns and DW, most of them are cub-age to him, and he's already introduced to them in fashions that have him going "I'm your sire, now. Fall in, I'll handle this." August is extremely used to this, and unbothered by it.

Running back to his neurodivergence: I talk a lot about his autism/alexythemia, but he's also extremely adhd. One of his strategies for getting... anything done, is that he figured out methods of note-taking that work for him when he was in fahrar.

Gaius's spell-breaking is, at the start of the game, a homebrewed sort that makes use of his natural magical affinity for sensing the magic of others-- he can sort of innately tell when someone is channeling to cast, and he either inserts a spike of opposite magic to interrupt it, or outright steals the spell for himself.

His core ability of "sensing the magic of others" stems from his True Magical Ability to copy the magic of someone else. Due to charr and Iron Legion/upbringing time-period specific stigma against shamans, he never honed his own abilities until LWS4, when the gang spends time with the Olmakhan.

He named himself Horncleaver in homage to both the warband he graduated the fahrar with (his name was Blackhorn) and the Blood band he briefly joined after a year as a gladium (Blackshank).

Back to number 3: the toxic bacon hp in HoT is More Canon Than All Others, which are already canon, because I struggled with this one when taking him through, and I think it'd be funny if A) he did it because he was still a bit put out about him and Rytlock, and B) he did get very uncharacteristically sick. And keep trying to succeed.

Although he's very deadpan and monotone, one form of expression Gaius struggles to suppress is purring, especially when engaging in displays of physical affection.

He is extremely vain.

He has, in several instances, learned others' magic from copying their abilities. The biggest examples are Berserker magic, Guardian healing+pyromancy, and Elementalist pyromancy.

He doesn't really like copying Revenant magic, because he's automatically tuned into the same "channel" as the person whose magic he's copying, and generally manifests the same relations the individual has to it. That makes it easier for some folk and harder for others, and he just dislikes the unpredictability of that.

Batch 2!

15. Gaius, in spite of being an administrative centurion, loves to fight. He loves his job and enjoys doing it, but he is a jock at heart. 16. He's very proud of his scars, in a very charr-typical way. Despite this, he's self-conscious about his eye, because it's still there under the eyepatch, just badly burned so that he can't really move it nor his eyelid, and doesn't see well with it. He thinks people will think it's ugly, so he wears the eyepatch. 17. Gaius is not the Wayfinder-- his cub Augustus, of the Horns, is. He was minorly involved with JW, but otherwise hasn't had much to do with anything since the end of EoD, he's more focused on prepping to run for khan-ur. 18. He doesn't actually like drinking, he just does it socially. However, because of the culture, that means he drinks a lot. 19. Due to somewhat charr-typical standards, and his own emotional issues, he didn't really grieve either of his warbands until What Lies Within. 20. He's bad with nicknames, only ever using someone's full given name, or surname when addressing them. Usually, 'cub' is the most neutral/affectionate diminutive he can manage. 21. I only touched on it in the "he eats whatever" section, but the primary reason all the hero points are canon is because he's Very competitive. He will do anything, no matter how stupid, to prove either that he Can do it, or that he's Better than you. 22. He's gotten injured a lot because of his competitive nature, but it's truly like, one of the best ways to get past his hyper-serious business-first attitude.

Batch 3!

23. He reads constantly, but doesn't really have a mind for remembering much. Between his note taking system and ADHD, he's really good at random trivia.

24. He wears human-style undergarments (boxer-briefs)

25. He does not really regard his Flame heritage well, although he doesn't really harbor malcontent towards New Flame.

26. Although he says he has no preferences with foods (and doesn't seem to have much he dislikes) it's not entirely true. He's fond of grilled meats, seafoods, bugs, vegetables...

27. Don't let him near any sort of bow or gun-- it will either break or misfire.

28. In relation to that, he's great at reassembling things he's studied-- he did grow up learning about guns, and can dis/reassemble them... But watch out.

29. He's actually a really good artist, good at depicting portraits or busts. He doesn't show off, or talk about it because he doesn't consider it a skill.

EVEN MORE ERIK HEADCANONS

you know how he moves his hands when using his mutation? it's not a direct thing ("moving the index finger rotates the field") but rather movement in the same way a musician sways with their music. idk how to phrase it

speaking of! his mutation requires a good deal of physical strengh to use in earnest. after a long day of metalwork, he is physically sore. this comes with the added bonus of free muscle growth as long as he uses his mutation (on top of the normal exercise)

he hates -- absolutely loathes -- anything to do with medical treatments. for good reason, of course. hank tries to get a blood sample and erik nearly shoves the thing up and through the man's throat just on instinct (reasonable crashout)

charles, being a biology major anyhow, generally ends up being the one having to administer some medical task erik cannot do to himself (like, he can take his own blood, but he can't check his own pupils)

he's constantly "zoning out". in reality, he's dissociating (and has been since he was a kid) (im actually gonna swaddle him in a blanket auauuughgghh), but he just shrugs it off. everyone does that, right? this is where charles vehemently shakes his head 'no'

he actually has a lot of habits he's convinced are 'normal'. these range from an ability to navigate a room in pitch-black (he can sense where the metal elements of furniture-pieces are) to "wait, you actually remember your childhood before age thirteen?"

he's self-aware enough to know that his accent will leave an impression on whomever it is he is speaking with. so, over the years, he's honed the ability to make his accent as neutral as possible. this does end up with the strange concession of the accent he speaks with in english not defaulting to german/yiddish mix (although he can consciously switch to his 'natural' accent) but to something...vaguely south-english with an edge of irish.🤔
