"You’re staring," Morro comments as he sits in the shade of the umbrella with his arms crossed over his chest. Lloyd turns his gaze over to his cousin before his green eyes flicker back to the [skin colour] woman playing in the water.
"I’m not staring," Lloyd lies, Morro hums in disbelief, closing his eyes.
"Looks like staring to me," Montgomery mutters, rolling eyes as he continues to build his sand castle. It has been working very hard on it. And it is very important that his sand castle is better than anyone else's on the beach. His ashy blond hair is tied away from his face, his eyes flickering over to the woman before moulding more of his sandcastle.
"I am not staring!" Montgomery and Morro give each a glance because they know that their cousin/twin brother is lying. And Lloyd does not lie very often. It is unlike him. "I’m just…"
"Being a creep?"
"Ogling at her?"

"Stop it!" Lloyd shouts at them, Morro and Montgomery laughing hard at him which makes [Name] turn her head as she hears it. Lloyd notices her looking at him, the tips of his ears going bright red in embarrassment. She waves at him, Lloyd taking a small moment to appreciate her swimming suit. It’s not good of him. He knows. But she is so beautiful. And she is wearing yellow. Her favourite colour is yellow.
How does Lloyd know that? Because they go to the same university. Morro does not go to university and Montgomery, goes to a different one. But going back to [Name], she always wears a piece of yellow when he sees her. It’s either [in her hair/the colour of her hijab/the colour of her hair accessories or her top or skirt or trousers are yellow.
"Wave back, you dick," Montgomery mutters, breaking Lloyd out of his trance. Lloyd sits up immediately bringing his hand up and waving enthusiastically at [Name]. She laughs in the water, waving back at him with the same amount of enthusiasm. "Oh my fucking god," Lloyd’s twin mumbles, dragging his hands down his face.
Morro shakes his head, rubbing his bottom lip as [Name] goes back to playing in the sea with her friends. She is pretty cute.
"She goes to your university, doesn’t she?" Morro questions, moving back slightly so he can lie down.
"Yeah," Lloyd tells him, pushing his blond curls back. Montgomery hums, patting the side of his sand castle. The three of them do not even notice other people at the beach looking at them. I mean, why wouldn’t they? Three attractive guys together? How could you not look at them? "She does nursing. She’s really sweet,"
"She looks pretty sweet too," Montgomery smirks, Lloyd hardening his gaze at his twin as his green eyes flicker to red. Montgomery’s eyes flicker to purple in reflex, tilting his head to the side. "I’m kidding, relax. Put your eyes away. We’re in public,"
Morro sighs, rubbing in between his eyebrows. Being cousins with dragon oni hybrids is a struggle. Especially when one always irritates the other.
"Lloyd, go and talk to her," He starts, rubbing his wrist. "She keeps looking over so she wants you to do something,"
"But what should I say to her?" Lloyd blinking, his eyes flickering back to green. "And she’s with her friends and I don’t want to embarrass her,"
"You are an embarrassment," Montgomery mutters, Lloyd narrowing his eyes at his twin. He brings his hand up, knocking down the side of the sandcastle. Morro bursts out laughing, Montgomery turning to face his twin slowly. "Oh, you are so dead,"
[Name] dries her face off with her yellow flannel before hearing a laugh and a scream. She looks up, watching as Lloyd, her university crush, runs into the sea as his twin? She is pretty sure that it is his twin, runs after him.
She watches as they both collide into the sea, his twin lunging at him and missing. Lloyd laughs, ducking into the water before Montgomery jumps on top of him, pushing him into the water.
"Hey, [Name]!" The yellow loving woman turns her head, seeing her friends walking over to the smoothie and ice cream shacks. "Honey flavoured ice cream?"
"Yes please!" [Name] beams, looking for her purse. Which is somewhere in her beach bag. "I’ll get some money, hold on!"
"No, it’s okay!" Gabi shouts, waving as she gets closer to the shack. "We’ve got you! Relax! You need it!"
And she does. Especially with the placement she had. Why did she get vomited on three times? Why?
She sits down on her blanket, which is also yellow, lying on her back. The sun is so warm right now. It feels great on her skin. She sighs happily before hearing a small cough on her left. She opens her eyes, seeing Lloyd?!
She sits up, smiling at him as he smiles at her.
"Hey," He starts, [Name] moving over on her blanket and patting it so he can sit down next to her. "Uh, thank you,"
"No problem," She smiles at him. Does she look okay? Should she be sitting differently? She never noticed…how well…muscular he was. And that dragon tattoo? Granted, whenever she does see him in university, he is always wearing some sort of green hoodie. "I didn’t know you came to this beach,"
"I don’t usually," Lloyd starts, looking down at his tattoo. It cannot move. It must not move. And it might move because Lloyd is really happy. "But my twin and my cousin wanted to go so I thought why not join them,"
"That’s really kind of you," She tells him, putting a hand on his thigh. The tip of Lloyd’s ears go red, the blond scrunching up his nose. Gosh, he’s embarrassed. "I came to celebrate the end of placement this year,"
"Done completely?"
"Yes!" [Name] exclaims with joy which makes Lloyd laugh. She is so naturally at ease with him. It is refreshing. "Thank goodness! I need more me time, I miss it,"
"Yeah, I sympathise," He tells her. Her hand is still on his thigh. He is not complaining. Just…he does not even know. "How are you going to spend your free time?"
"Loads of reading, checking through my assignments," [Name] begins to list off, taking her hand off his thigh. "More walking because I genuinely hate going to the gym. Trying new food places and maybe going on some dates with you…?"
"Yeah, that seems-" Lloyd furrows his eyebrows, looking at [Name]. "Dates? With me?"
"I mean, yeah?" [Name] laughs nervously, scratching her cheek. Was she being too far fetched? "Unless you don’t-"
"No, I want to!" Lloyd exclaims, before realising his sound level. "Sorry," He clears his throat. Let's try that again, shall we? "I didn’t mean to cut you off, but I do want to. I really do. I’ve-I have wanted to ask you out for a while now,"
"You have?! But I-really?" [Name] smiles.
"Of course," He nods earnestly, the tattoo on his skin itching to move. "How could I not want to ask you out?" and that meant everything to [Name]. "I should have probably done it before though…" Lloyd rubs the back of neck, Morro and Montgomery listening in. Of course they are. Montgomery is waiting for Lloyd to mess up and fail. "Hey, [Name]," Lloyd mutters, waving at her with one hand as he still looks down at his assignment.
"Hey, pipsqueak," She tells hims, peering into the pan that Morro is mixing tomatoes in.

"You will forever be pipsqueak, Montgomery," She smiles at him, Lloyd rolling his eyes and going back to his assignment.

[Name] looks at the notes at her desk before letting her head fall into her hands. She is going to fail. She will fail. Why did she go into nursing? No, because why did she go into such a hard course? Just to prove a point? Just to prove that she could do it?
But she cannot even do it?! She lets out a small cry, placing her head on the table. Should she eat these notes to absorb the information? You are what you eat, right?
There is a knock on her bedroom door, [Name] looking over to it before moving onto her bed. And lying face first.
"Come on in," Her voice is muffled because of the yellow pillows on her bed. She also has a bee pillow pet which she calls Pollen. Was she inspired by Miraculous? Yes, she was.
"Hey…" Lloyd says softly, peeking his head through the door. Montgomery pushes his twin, walking into the bedroom and sitting on her bed. He places a hand on her back, rubbing it up and down gently. "What’s going on, honey?"
"Nothing," Her voice is still very much muffled.
"Well, that’s obviously a lie," Morro states, walking into the bedroom. He crosses his arms, standing on the other side of [Name] as Lloyd notices her notes on her desk. He pushes some apart seeing the medicine side of nursing as well as the behavioural side too. "We can help you. Talk to us,"
"Is it about your exam on Tuesday?" Lloyd questions, tilting his head as his finger taps her calendar. [Name] lifts her head, turning to the three men in her room. A few months ago it would not have been like this. She nods before letting out a cry and letting her head fall back onto the soft pillows.
The three of them look between them before, looking back at [Name].
"You’re not going to fail," Morro starts, looking down at her. He does not like seeing her like that. "If that’s what you’re thinking about,"
"Yeah," Montgomery agrees, taking his hand off [Name] back and maneuvering her so that she can see everyone. "You work really hard. And you’ve been studying so much, we basically haven’t seen you for days,"
"But what if I work really hard and I still fail?!" Which is a fair point. What if all that hard work she did just results in a big fat zero at the end of it?
"You won’t," Lloyd tells her gently. "You won’t fail,"
"And we can help you," Montgomery tells her, pulling her closer to him. She rests her head on his shoulder, covering her face with her hands as she tries to hide her tears. Morro narrows his eyes at his cousin, Montgomery sticking his tongue at his relatives out as he puts a hand around [Name]’s waist. [Name] makes no notice of it, looking between them.
"Really?"
"Well, nursing is hard," Lloyd says, looking back at the notes and calendar. Five days until Tuesday. "But we can do it. I can make a schedule. We can all take turns to help you. You will be fine,"
"But don’t you guys have exams? Or other things to do?" She drags her hands down her face, letting them rest on her lap. What if she drags them down with her? "What if you helping me makes you fail?"
"I think I’m way too smart for that, Honey," Lloyd smiles, noting down the different sections of her module that she needs to revise for. "And Monty and Morro should be fine," A moment passes, Morro opening to say something but Lloyd speaks again. "I think,"
"What do you mean, ‘you think’?!" Montgomery demands, looking at his twin with a glare. Lloyd shrugs, giving [Name] a small wink before turning back to her work on the desk. "I’m smarter than you!"
"Monty,"
"No, Morro. I am smarter than him!" Montgomery squishes [Name] cheeks together, the woman’s lips pursing due to the grip. He could kiss her right now. "Honey, you’re on my side, right?"
