A summary of The Original Ahriman
This is mainly aimed at new followers on Bluesky, so I'll only include things that have so far been posted on Bluesky.
Everything is in the order it happened, but some of it has only been implied so far and we might get back to those things more thoroughly in flashback/backstory format in future chapters.
Btw, to not confuse you about some parts below, Ahriman is genderfluid and can change their form. They go by she/they in their female form, and he/they in their male form.
Summary:
Ahriman was raised by the three Sages of The Magic Realm, Áine, Ethren and Keisha
Ahriman and Bella were in a relationship during their teenage years, they now hate each other because of how badly that relationship ended, because Ahriman is polysexual and greyromantic (they don't know about the "grey" part though, they think they can't fall in love at all), and no one taught neither Ahriman nor Bella anything about how to be a good partner (This part was posted in a "8 years earlier" flashback yesterday, and we're still in the middle of that flashback)
Bella and Mortimer married when they were 20, they're now 25 and Cassandra is 5
Ahriman and Grace Anansi start a woohoo relationship
Ahriman studies Villainy at Foxbury Institute
Ahriman works as a mixologist in the pub in The Magic Realm HQs
Morgyn and Caleb were in a relationship, Caleb was very clingy so it didn't work out
Ahriman accidentally "turned someone into a ghost" (more about this in a future chapter), and to say sorry for giving Grim extra work they took him to the movies, and then they stole one of his Death Notes
Áine got a crush on Morgyn, who's her apprentice, so she thought that maybe Ahriman could take over after her instead of Morgyn, which was basically Áine's brain not working properly because of her feelings for Morgyn
Áine and Morgyn start a relationship
Ethren and Keisha decide to take help from Grace and Tomax with Morgyn's training, because they don't trust Áine to be completely professional
Ahriman creates a Permanent Duplicate and sends them to a parallel universe
Ahriman struggles with loneliness, because everyone has always treated them the way you'd expect people to treat you when you don't act like a decent person
Ahriman tries to get help from Grace to handle the loneliness and Grace tells them to treat others the way they themself wants to be treated
A person spawns at the ley line in Ahriman's backyard, Ahriman figures out that the person is a magical exchange for sending their Duplicate to a parallel universe
Ahriman loses the magical-exchange-person
Ahriman feels like they should tell Áine about the magical exchange, but doesn't have the courage to do so
Grim figured out that Ahriman stole one of his Death Notes and is very angry because of the extra work Ahriman caused him by playing around with the Death Note (more about how the Death Note works in a future chapter)
Bella has trust issues and thought that Mortimer cheated on her with Bonehilda (he didn't)
Cornelia and Gunther made Bella and Mortimer go to couples counselling
Bonehilda and Grim start dating (implied)
Caleb is still very clingy and Morgyn doesn't want to see Caleb ever again
Lilith forces Caleb to go to therapy because of how unreasonable and clingy Caleb is
Áine and Morgyn's relationship isn't going very well because Áine thinks that problems can be solved through woohoo
Ahriman tries to get help from Grace again to handle loneliness, Grace suggests trying to befriend Agnes and Agatha, because Ahriman and Agnes both have a hate for Bella, and Agatha is nice to literally everyone
Agnes and Agatha take Ahriman sightseeing in Henford, and Ahriman decides to act nice for one day
Ahriman meets Harold the Llama in Henford. Ahriman loves animals and llamas are their favourite animal, so they're very happy to meet Harold
Ahriman breaks down from having been nice to Agnes and Agatha for a whole day, because they're very much not used to acting nice
Due to their breakdown, Ahriman sets The Magic Realm HQs on fire (no one was harmed, Tomax put out the fire) and freezes Bella with the Chillio spell
Grace talks some sense into Ahriman
Ahriman wants change, and tries to get that by Morphiating into their male form, which they haven't been in since they were young, but now it reminds them of having sent their Duplicate (who was spawned in their male form) to the parallel universe and having the magical-exchange-person spawn in this universe, so they go back to their female form
Ahriman decides to change their career to get some change
Ahriman tells Áine about sending their Duplicate to a parallel universe and about the magical-exchange-person that they lost, Áine gets mad
And this is where we are right now on Bluesky (though right now we're actually in the middle of the flashback mentioned in the second bullet point).
