From the mountain meadows of Switzerland Lilium martagon (Turk's cap lily, martagon lily, mountain lily) is a strong-growing lily forming a clump. It has tall stems of fragrant, purple flowers and there is a white blooming variety, Lilium martagon var. album.

'I realized that my artwork is made with story, as much as it’s made with the design ideas of my ancestral Kwakwaka’wakw art and illustration. I love creating linkages in how people create their lives, who they are connected too, and how they may feel represented. As well the bigger cuffs give me an opportunity to have a canvas big enough to really sink into where that story can go.
I created this 3 “ copper with a Silver Bee out of an inspiration of someone who was going to be a bee keeper, and being inspired by the movie Killers of the Flower Moon. I wanted feminine power, while also highlighting the Mountain Lilies in the background. I wanted the moon to be represented as the Bee, the symbol of life and its continued presence. The bears are the protective spirit, here on earth and who gets to enjoy the connection to the bee and all the wealth they bring in spring. Hope you enjoy!'
I am an autistic aroace 20 year old who has been abandoned by every person I’ve ever met, who still craves someone to love me ike a classic Disney princess who’s simultaneously extremely childish and regressive while also being the youngest student in my advanced graduate level classes and teaching full lectures to undergrads in the same major as I am while I am also technically still in undergrad. I’m tired, I’m broken, I feel like a success and a total failure. I want to grab my only and best friend who I only met 3 weeks ago and hold on to him till my knuckles bleed so that maybe someone will stay.
