Staring at her arm, she was at least thankful that she was able to retain her cybernetic arm. Things probably would have been a lot harder to deal with without it, shaking her head, she stares at the cell phone before her. She preferred the scrolls she was used to, as the block didnt provide nearly as much information as she’d like. She had no idea where her sister was, nor her other teammates. At this point, she should be used to being split up, but after things started to feel semi-normal, they were thrust into yet another life-threatening situation.
This? Being sent to an unknown dimension as an experiment? Yang liked to believe she was adventurous enough to accept new challenges set ahead of her. After all, visiting Haven and Atlas was nice, even if it didn’t last. With the threat of Salem destroying Remnant, Yang couldn’t help but wonder if any of her faction had been taken as well. That only meant more trouble, not just for her, but for the beings in this dimension as well.
Focusing her thoughts on the screen before her, she saw what looked like to be an island full of abandoned ships. This meant shelter, materials to survive off of. An easy place to explore, though she wasn’t sure if it was all that it seemed. Her finger ghosted over Volaat Isle, and before she knew it, she was standing on the shore. Not as big as she expected, but at least the view was pretty. Being a fan of warmer weather, Yang let out a stretch and adjusted her sunglasses.
This should be easy enough.
Shedding her coat, she tied the arms around her waist and set off to see what she could salvage from the wreckage in front of her. Eyeing the decaying wood, she wondered if there would be any wood viable for a fire later. Trudging forward, she spotted an opening. She wasn’t naive enough to ignore the other footprints leading to the same area, who knew who would be lurking. Anyone from the city could be there, and depending on who it was, could be a formidable enemy. Cautiously rounding a corner, she heard faint griping coming from down the hall. Whoever it was, didn’t sound very happy to be there.
“Hellooooooooooooooooooooooo?” She called, cupping her hands around her mouth to amplify her voice. “I know you’re in here somewhere, come on out.”
