A Good Sunday

I have walked twice today. Once with the dog, and once without. A total of 2.6 miles, and according to My Fitness Pal and Map My Walk apps, that is a total of 6,758 steps. I try to walk a  minimum total of 10,000 steps a day, so I’m well on my way.

It’s harder to do in the wintery weather, because I am a wimp when it comes to walking in cold wind. It should be easier for me this year because I’ve started going to Mitchell Fitness Center five days a week. Wish I could afford to but a full one year membership so I could have 24/7 access, because they aren’t staffed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Seniors can go daily on staffed days, and it only costs me 25 dollar a month, and the have the Silver Sneakers program which is helpful in increasing overall fitness (upper body strength, flexibility, balance, etc.) which I was not addressing by just walking. Any way, It has been a good Sunday, so far.
