Mr Kipling - Hot Cross Pies

Couldn’t resist giving these a go… if it has a cross on top, it’s going in the basket!

Sweet shortcrust pastry, that had a bit of a soggy bottom, filled with a spiced fruit mixture that’s mostly little chunks of apple.

With a crispier pastry these could be delicious. I may have to try them from the oven.
