Mobius Invades New York

It's a big multiverse, and it just so happens that in one universe, Loki never came through The Tesseract.

Mobius after eons just watching time pass with little hope of seeing his Loki again stumbles upon this universe and decides to act out Loki's part in a bid to feel closer to his lost friend, and to discover a way to see him again.

He's spent ages observing Loki and the sacred timeline, how hard can it be?

Just imagine, The Tesseract being all dramatic and out pops this random guy who looks like an accountant. A face search brings up a match to jet ski salesman Don from Ohio. This is who they're up against.

Mobius decides to call himself Mr. Tesseract to really lean into the whole villain-persona. By the time we get to the 'captured by SHIELD' part of the plan, everyone is absolutely baffled. Yet Mobius is somehow evading their interrogation with a blase kind of attitude and hitting all of their weak points.

Anyway, the plan goes off the rails, and Mobius has decided to use the space and time stones to pause time across all universes so he can travel through the world tree and talk to Loki.

Loki, who is seeing all of this happen in realtime, tries to prevent Mobius from putting himself in danger by sending subtle pushes to people in the timeline to stop Mobius. He even tries sending hints to his TVA friends when they pop in on a timeline.

As a last ditch effort, he even tries throwing that timeline's Loki in his path to try to get Mobius to move on.

Mobius is not having it.

Everyone is excited about Robert Downey Jr. coming back to the MCU, but you know what I want to see. I want to see Mobius becoming Mr Tessarect. Imagine if it is like a similar story line to when Wanda became a villain after losing Vision. Mobius is desperate to save Loki from that tree, so he used the powers of the Tessarect to help, but in doing so, he gets corrupt by the Tessarect powers. Imagine how cool of a villain arc it would be

Seven Sexy Sentence Sunday 🌶️

Im late (again) but it's still Sunday somewhere right?! 😅

Here's another peek at mine and @ghoulehhh's Mr Tesseract fic, titled 'Your Paradox Is Blue'.

“LOKI!”  And - as if on cue - Loki’s fingers dig in deeper still, twisting to hold him fast. The better to press himself against that palm, rutting up against it all selfish and without shame. His nails drag harshly across Tesseract’s damaged skin, caution thrown to the wind, oblivious to the fingertip that manages to snag a fissure. The digit sinks into the crack of glowing blue and Loki instantly feels a shock shoot up his arm. A high-pitched yelp hitches in his throat and he tears his hand away from Tesseract’s side altogether, still buzzing from contact, like his very nerve-endings have been fried. Another yelp is punched out of him when he’s unceremoniously slammed back into the wall. Tesseract’s eyes narrow, blazing with electric anger, a bruised and blackened hand going straight for the God’s throat to pin him there. The playful air is gone, replaced with something much more threatening. Tesseract is snarling quietly, chest heaving in a steady rhythm, trying to shake off the pain brought on by such an intimate touch. He blinks away stars from the painful violation, his entire being having seized up in a paralytic sort of pleasure - and he hadn’t liked it one bit. Only she’s allowed to touch him so deeply and get away with it, and for the briefest moment he’s reminded of her absence, their weakened connection within the TVA’s walls. It’s nearly enough to make him lose focus and crumble - but he won’t. Not when he’s already come this far. “You little shit,” he hisses, his jaw clenched. Loki attempts a noise in protest, but the fingers around his throat tighten, and whatever words he had are swallowed down in fear. “Don’t. Do. That.” He punctuates each word with a squeeze of his hand and another slam against the wall, in such a casual display of some unspoken strength that seems to be lurking beneath his damaged exterior.  Loki’s hands fly up to clutch at the wrist of the hand at his throat, eyes going wide with panic just as the muffled, distant yells kick in from the observation room.

Summary:

Loki's plan to invade Earth hits an immediate impasse when he discovers the Tesseract is not the simple cube he's expecting. Mobius awakens in a strange lab in a body he barely recognizes, with a head full of broken memories and an angry god trying to tear him apart. After being split up by their first confrontation, the two are drawn back together by the fates, which have even more complications in store for them.

Here is my final piece for @lokiusbang!! This was a big idea to take on in the time that was left, but I'm excited I had the chance to write it! And, in my usual way, I blew past the minimum word count. 😆 In my defense, I really wanted to make the ending feel earned and also wanted to include as many of the artist's details as I could. I hope you enjoy it! 💚💙
