“Do you think a doughnut grilled cheese would be grody or great? I’m leaning towards great but I think it may be pushing it.” Cubby chuckled as he sunk further into the couch that it seemed he had practically fused with. “Maybe I should do a twitter poll. Should I do a twitter poll?” He already had his phone out so the question was slightly rhetorical.
“I put these little flowers in my hair, and they make me feel like a faerie prince!” Miguel tugged softly at one of the little braids he’d put in his hair, grinning. There were tiny white flowers entwined in the braids, making Miguel look absolutely adorable, if he did say so himself. “Do I look as cute as I feel?”
Scrolling through her phone Marceline shook her head at all the tabloids, leaving town for a road trip had seemed like a good idea until coming home and realizing her brother was in town. To say she didn’t want to see Marshall would be an understatement, she had vanished off the radar managing to keep a low profile for the last 6 years. She wished Finn was around he was usually a good listener, instead she was walking around aimlessly downtown. “Where’s a 24 hour pizza joint when you need one,” she grumbled under her breath.
“Y’know, you should really find a better place to put your wallet.” With a small flourish of his hand, Oliver held up the wallet in question and gave its owner a stern look. “I’m not the type of guy who’d steal from some random person on the street, but not everyone is like me. If I could grab it without you even realizing, then anyone else can do the same thing.”
“ So, totally random questions, they mean nothing at all, I’m just curious -- ” She held the book of the customer she was currently ringing up in her hands, mustering her best grin, “ Do you live in Meridian? If so, how long have you been living here? Do you like it here? Is there anything you’d change about it? Again, totally random questions. ”
Some (mainly Marco) might say that Star could barely take care of herself let alone another living thing, but that didn’t stop her from getting a puppy. The blonde was in the middle of taking the yellow lab on a walk when something caught his attention and he ran off. It took a moment for Star to catch up to the little rascal but when she did she found him jumping up and down at someone’s feet. “I’m so sorry his leash just sorta slipped out of my hand.” She smiled down at the puppy who was furiously wagging his tail. It took all her willpower not to scoop him up and hug him to death. “I guess he was just excited to say hello.”
Lock was bored, which was never a good thing for those near by him. Oogie was off on business leaving him and his siblings with orders to alert him for any signs of Jack or his gang. So far the man had yet to show his face which meant Lock was back to square one. Making himself comfortable on a fire escape he messed with a lockpicking kit, it wouldn;t do to get rusty, Oogie needed him useful after all. Hearing a clattering sound he glanced down spotting a figure, hopping over he landed with ease on the ground. “You know most people tend to avoid dark alleys this late at night, mean unless you got a death wish then by all means continue these kinds of strolls.”
