Okay so jokes aside this episode, if you don’t know what I’m talking about it’s episode seven of the amazing digital circus (and this WILL have SPOILERS)
Uhhh where was I? Oh right, jokes aside this episode is really reflecting the whole I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream elements and how much Caine is based off of AM and how the ending of the show is most likely going to be something similar to the book ending.
(In which again if you don’t know what I have no mouth and I must scream is then I recommend finding the book online on a pdf and reading it if you’re a tadc fan because there’s some references in the show from IHNMAIMS)
(And also there is a click and point [point and click?] game of the book IHNMAIMS but that has multiple endings I think…)

Alright to start of with this let’s go back to the book where the characters (Mc: Ted and the others Nimdok, Gorrister, Ellen and Benny) are told there is an ice cavern they can go, to find food and it have been years (I think?) that they have had any actual food and when they do get to the ice cavern they see canned food but no can opener
Now in this scene
When the cast discovered that the whole “Abel helping them escape” thing was a carefully planned adventure.
Does it not sound similar?
Jax mentioned the mind altering effects Caine uses like the stupid sauce and the vegan thing (watch episode four and five to see what I’m referring to)
And AM can also alter minds and body.
And Kinger is really only “sentient” in a sense that he can only really say what he can say in the dark
In this scene he might’ve realized that this was a trick (adventure) but before he could say anything his his memory seems to also have been erased
See these two transitions here where now instead of being a fully conscious human he is now the archetype of the “crazy old man” in the right picture.
Caine might know that kinger might know too much and made the light a weakness so that he doesn’t remember any actual useful information about the circus.
So yeah…real interesting
Also lowkey think they just fooled us around cause they know we know the theories like the mannequin being a human (or Abel) that the cast are human experiments and uhhh lots of other things….
