The Lenora / Nomura content you didn’t know you wanted!! Still thinking of a ship name, cause from what I can tell there hasn’t been much content for these two together?  

There should be, I think - Cause if you think about it, it’s kind of grand! Like sdkkdfdjgds you have a beatnik theatric actor/ math teacher and an opera theater loving museum curator and they can BOTH recite works they love and kick ass like!! like!!  AND DON’T GET ME STARTED WITH THE POTENTIAL OF STAGE COMBAT / REAL COMBAT OOF

So here’s a bit of reading content from a WIP @random-emerald-thoughts​ and myself have been working on together! It’s been sitting in docs since sdfndsnfd January?? oh boy  - it’s still pretty rough (shared with mutual permission)  //

"Do you know how many fringe shows I was a part of?? How many non paying gigs I accepted in between commercial auditions just to feel alive in this industry?"

Nomura had no idea, but by Janeth's tone and how the guinness slopped out of her glass, need only imagine.

"It's a numbers game Zelda, and I wasn't lucky."

"Oh boy" Nomura said reaching across for the glass, "that's enough for you."

"Nooo!" Janeth hissed retracting into herself dragging the beer closer and sloshing more liquid over the rim. Strickland blinked. Her eyes narrowed at Nomura behind those black  thick rimmed glasses. "I haven't had nearly enough in both beers," she hiccuped loudly. "Or..." She paused blinking owlishly up at the ceiling in search for the words that were tapping around in her inebriated brain. "Theatre!" She hollered  in remembrance, raising her glass high in triumph the last of Guinness going over her shoulder and hit a passing server full in the face.

Nomura winced at the swears the server flung under his breath. Was ready to defend if the server had other words to say, but the tired underpaid worker did nothing but shuffle off around the corner to complain to fellow coworkers while toweling down.

"Alright...yes...theater." said Nomura who tried to think of some other way to persuade the glass from Janeth's hand.

Alas the thespian wouldn't have it, and with her glass she raised it further and went as far as to stand as she declared. "But I don’t want to be talked to like some incurably sick patient you have to comfort. Oh, I suppose I am sick, one of those weak and divided people who slip like shadows among you solid strong ones. But sometimes, out of necessity, we shadowy people take on a strength of our own. I have that now. You needn’t try to deceive me. You needn’t try to comfort me."

Nomura blinked and was, for the most part impressed. As for the rest of the part, "Alright Alma, no comforting here." and with a swoop she hoisted the human over her shoulder leaving Strickland to foot the bill.

Strickland, watching the struggling pair, merely crossed his legs with a sigh. It wasn't entirely how he thought the evening would go.

"Frankly I was more of a Chekov admirer myself." he said to no one in particular, and perhaps the awkward server trying to slide the bill his way. However the server was equally distracted as he also watched the scene.

The changeling needed to only give him a look to send the server on his way.

With a mini triumphant smirk and head wiggle Strickland clicked his pen, "All in the subtext."
