✘ CLOSED STARTER — @msueloise
As she continued to attend practices, Malia’s love for cheer was beginning to grow. The girl enjoyed getting back into tumbling and learning new tricks, as well as being around her cheermates. Their energy was always so powerful and radiant, she could help but admire them. Simultaneously, this usually made her feel a bit sad— insecure, even. This much was made blatantly clear by their cheer captain. Malia felt like she was being kept on her toes to ensure that she was doing as much as she could to keep her spot on the team, but it was hard not to feel like it just wasn’t enough.
As she packed her bag and readied to leave once dismissed from practice, she noticed a shadow fall over her face. Nervous about who she would see, Malia moved her gaze upwards, very slowly.
“Eloise!” The younger exclaimed with a relieved sigh. Seeing her face was definitely a comfort— she was the very person who had convinced her to join the team, afterall. “Did you need something? Or am I in the way? Sorry about that I’m just about done and ready to leave any second now!”
