I read your squirrelstar fic(up to the current chapter) and it's such a cool concept and execution. Everything is so tense and I was on the edge of my seat with ever chapter. Love getting to see characters in new roles because of the split! Okay onto my actual question: Do you know what wound was the lethal one in squilf's first death? My money's on the skull crack. And did anything else scar? (you can answer this privately if you'd like to keep spoilers off your blog.)

we're in the thick of the plot, and there's a lot going on. every chapter from ch8 until the end is identified in my notes by the biggest plot event (in this case, "breezepelt"), but then there's like several paragraphs of what's going on. i can't wait to share (parts of) my planning doc for this fic.

the skull crack would have killed her, but bramblestar killed her before it had the chance. starclan heals both tho, which is why it takes so long and bramblestar has time to declare her fully dead.

i'm not sure if she has any specific new scars from this battle. she didn't take a ton of damage after she died, so she came out of matters fairly well, if exhausted. she might have gained a new nick in her ear or something, but nothing big and dramatic.

“why?” mothwing asked.

“because you are an atheist and i don’t trust you. also, every time you get an herb, you make the herb store a mess.”

“jayfeather, you don’t have a system.”

“i do have a system! you just don’t understand it.”

How would Spotfur's kits turn out? (If we're being genetically accurate)

well, we haven't seen them yet, so i can't do my usual checking the canon characters, so let me introduce you to...spotfur's kits in mtbnsof!

(minor spoilers, maybe?)

spotfur and stemleaf...babes...

spotfur is a grey and white spotted tabby. or blue spotted tabby and white, as i start to shift things into Helpful terms for me. i feel she should have long fur. that's debatable. but i don't care. my kits for my fic.

stemleaf is a white and ginger tom. he's not listed as a tabby, which as you may know, doesn't Work like that (and the wiki seems to have learned that too? which is cool?) but let's say he's genetically non-agouti, and he's displaying the mackerel tabby type. alright? alright.

kl;sdfj picking litter size is always hard for me and i'm ngl spotfur's kits are not going to be major characters in the slightest, so these are actually just the five kits i'm picking between. one to all of them will be chosen.

i have genotypes for them so...yeah. i'm too lazy to copy them out of my "this is the generator output" organization, so. sorry about that.
