Fen’Harel and the Tree (fairy tale silliness inspired by @feynites adorable puppy au, Pride’s friendfiction and tangled au).

Long ago, the awfully clever, handsome, and powerful Fen'Harel caught the attention of Andruil, who declared that she would ravish him.

With the utmost care, he politely declined her proposition and explained that he was waiting to give his virtue away to his one true love. However, the mad goddess of hunt became unreasonably furious and had her beloved, Ghilan'nain, transform Fen'Harel into a small wolf pup and place him at the top of a very tall tree.

"Don't worry, wolfing, your true love's kiss will set you free," Andruil cackled. Cut off from his magic and unable to get back down, Fen'Harel was rendered helpless and spent his days howling in despair. He was ever so lonely. But then one day, the sounds of steady footsteps interrupted his cries. Who could it possibly be? He felt his heart leap out of his chest. The most stunning warrior to ever grace his eyes had come to his rescue, carefully scooping him up and carrying him back down to safety. When he tried to yip his gratitude, she smiled and pressed a gentle kiss atop his wet nose, "Ar lasa mala revas." And right then, he felt the whole world change.
