tie, sender helps tie receiver's tie. ooo fancy [ from here ! ]
You wouldn't know it by looking at him [ or pictures of him, tabloid shots of nights out, of formal events, of the few weddings he'd been invited to ] but Jamie grew up wearing ties. From the ages of 9 to 17, every morning, Jamie would struggle with the tie that was a part of his school uniform for the fancy posh school that City sent him to. He got better at it as the years went on; his mum wasn't always home to help him tie it in the mornings, and he had to learn on his own accord or else get into trouble, and he couldn't get into too much trouble, because that would lead to trouble at the Academy, and that was the last thing Jamie wanted. So he learned. And now, as an adult, he does everything in his power to avoid wearing ties.
But when Dani offers to tie Jamie's tie for him, who is he to deny him? He'll put on a fucking tie. He straightens his spine, his neck, pushes his shoulders back. "I'm all yours, muchacho," he tells him, giving him a cheeky little smile. "Didn't know y'knew how to tie a tie." Jamie loves learning new things about his teammates. God, he fucking loves them. Every single one of them. Dani is such a ray of sunlight in Jamie's day. And now he just has something more to add to his mental file on Dani - is equally proficient with both feet. Wears 14 for his dad. Surrounds himself with plants. Can tie a tie.
