I know people can do what they want, but it still saddens me as a multimuse and multifandom blog owner to see entire groups of people turning down crossovers or even on different fandoms without even giving them a chance or trying. Why is this a prevalent attitude now? Some of us love more than one fandom and want to bring our favorites with us to another fandom and now hating crossovers is the norm. It makes me feel so depressed and feel like I should only write for one fandom, and that feels wrong as no one should be pressured to feel like they are wrong for preferring multiple fandoms or moving fandoms.

At least give people a chance and politely turn them down.

Shout out to all multimuse blogs who have muses that never get any interaction because they are deemed problematic or unapproachable. Shout out for making these muses and showing that not all muses have to be friendly and kind.

:’D One thing I’ve grown to like and noticed about multimuse blogs and muns running them that you’d think that you’re gonna interact with all of them “non-selectively” but eventually you have the specific interactions where the muses are in sync and it just happens without you realizing that. This never stops new test runs happening and these phenomena coexisting is really great to see.

Oh man, I just love these kind of moments: They remind me how this hobby is significant to me.

I hate blogs with 100+ different muses. You don't need that many if you don't even stay in character. And if you have that many, you don't need to steal my friends mus, their face claim for said muse and one of their starters, word for word. How many other muses did you also steal?

I don't usually follow back multi-muse blogs because seeing other fandoms on my dash overwhelms me. And if I get overwhelmed, my already LIMITED creativity drains in seconds. Its an odd (one of the many) little quirk of mine.

Multi-muse blogs seem to be the new norm. I get it and it's fun, but it makes finding a character you want to roleplay with harder when it's not one blog a character. One way is to see one of their characters interacting with another blog and you learn what characters they play.

I hadn’t really thought about it much, but I do see a lot of people going that route these days.  And actually... now that I think about it... nearly all of my current partners are multi-muse blogs.  XD  Most of my own blogs are individuals just because the idea of moving them all onto a single blog hurts my head... but I do have an ‘experimental’ multi that I play around on a little, and I made a ‘hub’ blog awhile back that lists all of my muses and then directs people to their individual blogs.  I guess that’s not quite the same thing, though.  ^_^;

I do get that it can be harder to find the muses you’re interested in when so many people are going multi-muse.  Then again, on the plus side, you might just discover brand new characters to interact with that you wouldn’t have found otherwise.  Most good multi’s will have a list of their muses somewhere on their blog, so you can read up on everyone they write as.  When browsing a new multi that’s always the second place I go (right after reading their guidelines to make sure we’ll mesh well.)  :)

I really don't like multimuse blogs sometimes... It's just that they don't read the about or they don't read-more smut. While single-muse blogs do these things as well, multimuses seem to do it a lot more often. But there are some multimuses I do like, it's just that there aren't many good quality ones sometimes... I think the multimuse is great with good RPers.

I have a question, as an OC multimuse do I count?

Oh - yes of course you do!  <3  What I’ll do is go through your blog and take a look at each of your muses and then add them individually to the list depending on where I feel they fit best.  It looks like you’ve got a ‘species’ listed for all of your muses, so that will help me a ton!  ^_^  It’s mostly what I’ll use to determine where they’ll go.  Once I’m done, I’ll give you a chance to look over the lists and if you feel like any of your muses would go better in other categories, then you can let me know.  ^_^  Or if you wanted to look the categories over and let me know in advance where you think they each belong, that would be cool, too.  I’m also open to adding categories if they’re general enough that others can use them, too.  :)

P.S.  Since this is a question I think will benefit others, I’m going to publish it.  However, if you’d prefer I not, then let me know and I’ll delete my reply.  ^_^
