Can we have more of the pollination babies and uncle qrow?
RWBY Ship Headcannons #67: Pollination (No En*bler) Kids Edition!
First, a quick run-down of all the kids and their names, in age order!
Maraschino and Tango (Blake x Ruby)
Aspen, Storm and Frost (Blake x Weiss)
And now onto the headcannons!
In general, all the kids love their Uncle Qrow. Qrow is a very present role model in their lives, especially the younger kids after Blake steps out of the Huntsman game and decides to stay home with Eirwen and the Monochrome triplets.
Honey knows the least of Qrow. He doesn't have a lot of bond with him to say the very least. Honey always wanted to go with his mamas on missions and would SCREAM the place down if he was left without even one of them for five minutes. But as he gets older, Honey just isn't interested in the majority of his family. He has friends at school and annoying little siblings, that's enough for an introvert like him.
Maraschino and Tango are always joined at the hip! They got the heft of babysitting with Qrow, since he was quick enough to catch them while they had kitty-cat zoomies. Tango is the gentler one and would grab Qrow around the ankle to drag him back. And Maraschino likes to grab sticks and whack them against anything she can find. Failing this, Mara just...gnaws at her great-uncle's hands. As the girls get bigger, Tango stays clingy and Maraschino stays feral, so whenever Qrow sees them, he ends up with a new 'BEST FUNCLE' bracelet in those clunky little beads, courtesy of Tango making them and Mara wrecking them.
Rosenwyn is and always has been a stuffy little sweetheart. She prefers being on her own well into her preteens. She has a little flip-phone because she keeps wandering off without her moms and getting lost in the process. Qrow's had to find her more than a few times, but she always insists she's fine walking on her own so he just tails her in bird form to keep an eye out. She considers him the most fashionable of her relatives (spare Mama Weiss) so if she goes into stores to look at pretty clothes, she'll ask Bird Qrow for his opinions through the store windows.
Eirwen is the kid who openly prefers Tai over Qrow, but will still go to Qrow when he's very upset. He will latch onto anyone he can find for a hug and Qrow already gives very good hugs, so it’s a natural decision to his tiny kid brain.
The Monochrome twins ADORE their great-uncle Qrow. They’re still babies so they love most everyone but Qrow is their favourite babysitter and person to see, whether they go to him or he visits them. Aspen is his favourite. Though he’ll never tell Storm and Frost that.
