RWBY Ship Headcannons #78: STRQ White (Semblances Edition)

Summer is fucking FERAL. Yeah, sure, she's the rock of the team and their leader so she has a great head on her shoulders, but the twins have no idea what to expect whenever she sees a Grimm. It's a toss up on whether she has a plan or is just gonna go at it with her teeth.

As for her weapon, well, we know this now. She has to practice a whole lot to make sure all the mechanisms work like they're supposed to. More than a couple of times, Qrow has seen her smack herself in the face with the handle. And Tai's had to apply her band-aids from slicing her face up a little.

Her Semblance is a little odd. She can very specifically make SU-style bubble shields. She mostly uses them to hamster-ball around in fights. But one of her techniques is popping out of a Grimm that's eaten her like an explosive!

It's messy when the others learn about it for the first time. VERY messy.

Qrow thinks it's sick. He's a little on edge about sleeping around others, so Summer's more than happy to use her bubbles to guard him while he naps during the day.

Raven and Tai are both of the opinion she should only use it in battle and she thinks that's no fun at all!

Tai's semblance is similar to Yang's, a major power-up thanks to a certain emotional state. His only activates when he's in state of tranquility.

Summer, upon learning this, makes it her life's mission to make sure the twins don't piss him off during a fight. The twins, naturally, don't listen at all. Which is fine, because Tai is a calm and sweet guy overall.

For Silver Bull how do they act when jealous

RWBY Ship Headcannons #77: Silver Bull (Jealous Edition)

Adam is extremely prone to jealousy. And the crowd goes mild!

Like, obviously he's the jealous type. He's gotten better since getting rehabilitated and sorting through his trauma, but he still gets bristled whenever someone flirts with Mercury.

He'll not-so-subtly link his arm with Merc's, or lazily hug his waist. The most his restraint allows him to do is kiss at Merc's neck while he's talking.

Mercury doesn't mind. He knows how Adam gets, it's fine for him to get a little clingy when he feels insecure. They always talk about it afterwards and he's getting better about that stuff.

Meanwhile Merc does not get jealous all too often.

Sure, he might send dirty looks at someone if they speak a little too closely to Adam, but it's not a major thing. He's chill.

Ship Headcannons: Jewel Lizard (Ilia x Emerald)

RWBY Ship Headcannons #76: Jewel Lizard

Ilia has a very specific assortment of colour to her scales whenever she sees Emerald. First they turn bright pink, then a mix of ice blue and purple, then they settle on the same shade of green as Em's hair.

Em likes to always be holding Ilia is some shape or form. Her favourite kind of cuddling is around the waist, and she casually links their pinkie fingers whenever they're remotely close.

Em calls her 'Beau' and Ilia calls her 'Gem'.

If Emerald's reading, Ilia treats her like an audiobook. It's nice to lay in her lap and just listen. If she wants her to pause, she'll boop her nose in a move very much learned from Nora, which Em finds endlessly sweet. More than anything, Ilia finds Em's voice relaxing. She's fallen asleep like that before.

They give so many cheek kisses.

Okay, so regarding multiships ... TaiyangxCinder aka Tinder? The ship was brought up during RWBY Chibi where Ruby and Yang were trying to help Tai get a date, and he matched with Cinder. LoveDaddy x Iburn

It's so good, right?

As much as the girls would DEFINITELY be suspicious about Cinder dating their dad, I think it'd be sweet! Tai's such a big sweetheart that I can imagine him nurturing her and encouraging her softer side. Even to the point that she could co-exist peacefully with Ruby and Yang.

RWBY Ship Headcannons #75: Gauntlets and Greaves

They're very much a hot and cold couple. Pun fully intended. Either they're able to relax and go on normal-person dates, or they have to spar in the backyard to blow off steam.

Merc is a very talented mechanic and Yang knows quite a bit of engineered thanks to learning her arm's upkeep. She's gotten into enough really bad scrapes where Merc's had to patch the wires with stray copper and she's incredibly grateful for it. Similarly, Yang has had to use sheet metal on Merc's legs, which he doesn't complain about. He thinks it looks sick as hell.

He does all her haircuts, which are rare but not unheard of.

Something only Yang knows about Mercury is his love of stupid sitcoms. He has a full boxset of the corniest stuff on Remnant and it's her core blackmail. As if she'd have to use it.

He's always cold. She's always hot. In the summer, she clings to him like a koala to keep cool. And in the winter, he lays completely across her torso for warmth.

Arculus Rift/CircuitBreaker (Jaune x Penny) Headcanons if would so indulge me?

RWBY Ship Headcannons #74: Arculus Rift

God, Jaune is the sweetest guy. He'll leave little post-its for Penny to just say he hopes she has a nice day. He always makes her breakfast even if he wakes up after her. He's a very affectionate partner.

Penny has little memory lapses every so often, so she and Jaune both write memos on each other's skin. The most common one - and one they eventually get tattooed - is 'You're perfect as you are'.

She has his coffee order memorized to a tee.

Despite all the romantic shit he does, Jaune cannot handle being pampered without blushing like a maniac. Penny buys him a gift and suddenly he's all red and stuttering. His teammates think its adorable, and Penny thinks he's precious.

If they see something that reminds them of each other, they HAVE to get it immediately.

He cuts her hair. Pretty regularly, and he's very gentle about it.

Meanwhile she braids his! They're messy but she's getting better and more coordinated thanks to the practice.

They are both very soft. Not just with each other, in general! And they are both so ambivert-aligned that they balance perfectly.

Fiona, being naturally very fluffy, will often just take Marrow's hands to warm them up if he forgets his gloves or is trying to warm them up himself. Much to his continued flustering.

Marrow started it but they have a little tradition on dates. They each order the other a new drink to try, every time. They are steadily working their way through every cafe in Mantle and Atlas alike. And sometimes Marrow will accidentally order the same thing twice and Fiona is always polite about it.

If they're sitting together, Marrow gravitates toward Fiona to rest his head on her shoulder.

They will both go FERAL about each other verbally. They have both torn into bigots more times to count for daring to insult their beautiful partner's features.
