hmm... i dont really do great at receiving gifts that arent edible lololol but! most recently someone sent me a pair of shoes for work because she knew i was too stubborn to go spend money on new ones anytime soon, despite being quite overdue for it (':

i think... my favorite gift was the last one i got for christmas from my dad. i told him jokingly just to get me socks, and the madman went out and got me like 40 pairs of socks- all TOTALLY different from one another, ankle socks to knee socks, in whacky designs- ALL OF THEM. and then packed them all in tshirt boxes to make me think he got me other clothes and it was honestly one of the best christmases of my life lmaoooo

YyYyyyeah. And I couldn’t make other Ricks (or any other trainers for that matter; it wasn’t JUST Ricks) pay me to take care of their Mortys for them, just like how I couldn’t make them pay me to train their Mortys to be better at fighting, which...

Honestly, I hated doing the bootcamps. I never did them. I mean, it’s not like I lost anything from it. No one was fucking paying me extra outside of the government subsidized 9 bucks an hour. Which wasn’t even a 24 hour thing, by the way, even though I was doing my job 24 hours a day.

Let’s just say I did a lot of, ahem, favors for other Ricks, who I could always count on to be at least a little...

And also a lot of dumpster diving. The rich throw away all kinds of shit that’s still good. That’s like the only good thing about living in the rich part of town when you can’t afford jack shit.

I got donations occasionally, mostly from my boyfriends, and I didn’t want them to donate too much in case they needed that shit more, but.

YEAH.
