I mean. I kind of had a choice. I didn’t have to leave Nibelheim when I was 14 to join the military and try to become a SOLDIER like Sephiroth.

Except I guess everyone I’ve argued this with so far has pointed out that I was literally a kid and can’t be held responsible for that choice.
