A powerful fluffy gray tom with yellow eyes and large paws. His paws are unusually fluffy and his right ear is shredded.
Flintfang used to be a cheerful and excitable cat, eager to serve his clan. His mentor was a hardass and kind of rude but he could always tell that she was proud of him and his skill. Being a murker isn’t a very prestigious position within ShadowClan but Yewtooth took pride in her work and in turn, Flintfang found murking to be something to be proud of too. His thick fur took forever to clean afterwards but he was always able to stay in the water longer than usual.
He was clever and swift pawed, frogs were never able to escape his grasp. Flintfang was so proud and sat his vigil with his head held high
Flintfang was nervous about receiving Badgerpaw as an apprentice at three moons old and trained him much gentler and more carefully than Brokentail would want on account of him being so small. He was worried that he’d get in trouble but Yewtooth agreed with him and he continued with his decision, pleased that she approved. His precious apprentice was brought to his very first battle at only four moons old.
Flintfang was devastated when he discovered that his poor apprentice was killed by a WindClan warrior who froze in horror. The warrior apologized and Flintfang brought his apprentice back to camp, reporting to his sister that her only kit was dead. Tragedy further struck when Yewtooth was revealed to have died in battle. He and his brother Blackfoot confronted Brokenstar for his actions and Flintfang watched in horror as his leader all but tortured his brother to prove a point.
Flintfang retired to the elder’s den the same day grieving and guilty. He holds no hatred or resentment towards the WindClan warrior who killed Badgerfang- it was ShadowClan’s own fault that an innocent kit was brought to a real fight. Flintfang firmly believes that Badgerfang’s death was a punishment from Moonsoul for the way ShadowClan was completely disobeying the warrior code while also rescuing Badgerfang from any further suffering.
Now that Brokenstar is gone, Flintfang is tempted to become a mentor again- of properly aged kits.
