Reacting two weeks late but, my hopes for murphaven went up when they got stuck together in the space station, and then when Murphy wanted to make an impression on Raven.
And then last week ep happened and all hopes went down.
Headcanon: Murphaven
Raven and Murphy are the best friends who are assholes to each other. They like stealing food from each other and they keep tallies, but the score's always even.
"Ow, your elbows are lethal, wtf Murph" "Yeah? Too bad, the last cheese fry is mine"
“What the fuck, Raven, that’s my soda!” “Oh, is it? Are you this Murphy?" “THAT’S MY NAME, WHO ELSE DO YOU KNOW IS NAMED MURPHY?!" “My bad, I thought it was Murphy, you know, from down the street."

Raven and Murphy would be the trash talkers for their basketball team whenever they’re not playing in the game.

Headcanon: Octaven
Murphy dares Raven to do something, Octavia doesn’t give the wife’s seal of approval, but Raven gets the sneakiest smile, and later when all’s said and done and O’s patching her up (cause we know Raven would have done the thing anyway), Raven’s wearing a shit-eating grin.
“Why are you so smug? You’re bleeding in at least 5 different places”
“Because I got a cute nurse”
O still slaps her upside the head because she was a dumbass, but kisses her to make up for it.
