Three part mixed media series, 2024. The ascetic lay under the banyan tree, the fungi took hold of his brain. He achieved moksha for his madness and now his soul non/exists within Shambhala.

Whenever I‘m in the middle of studying for chemistry exams I mentally return to this little frog I painted last year, still high on mushrooms. I wish I could be him.

Full-specteum Amanita muscaria resin extract, turned into a concentrated tea and then frozen into ice cubes for easier storage/handling and dosing.

1 ice cube contains extractives from approximately 2.5g of dried caps.

Pictured Above: A sample of the finished tincture made from Amanita muscaria var. flavivolvata (Fly Agaric mushroom).

Below: Photos of the dried and roughly-powdered mushroom cap material. The total weight was 1.395 kilograms, which translates to approximately 30 pounds of fresh mushroom caps.
