Just a murderous guy and his dubious folkloric background

#sooo as mentioned I binge read the market of monsters trilogy and this series means so much to me #loved the characters and their funky relationships #like we have the most wholesome qpr on one side #and them both ganging up to become the worst sleep paralysis demons of a third guy on the other side #Kovit with his very fucked up morals will forever remain one of my favourite book characters #it’s insane to think the guy who gets first introduced to the story as “probably psychopathic murderer“ is the more reasonable one in this #relationship #nita trying to solve every single problem with murder while he keeps trying to befriend their hostages #not even bones #only ashes remain #when villains rise #kovit sangwaraporn #market of monsters fanart #also i really enjoyed the intersection between fantasy folklore and science for the worldbuilding

If i had a nickel for every time I got really into a story involving a character with an unfortunate past and unlikely companions investigating a zombie fungus outbreak while locked in an eerie facility with a dark past I’d have at least three nickels and god I hope I’ll be collecting more.

Anyways, I really enjoyed watching Cold Storage.

this year’s art vs artist looking quite nice. I think I learned a lot about colour and lighting, but I want to get back into sketching more and improving my anatomy.

But ngl, one thing I love so much about tshd’s setting is how universal some experiences growing up in the middle of nowhere seem to be. Catching frogs was a big one for me personally, it’s nice that they also reference that here.
