Dialogue Angst Prompts
“I wasn't a soldier, I was a child!” She screamed. “A child! Wearing her mother's armour, pretending to know the world! You promised me freedom! You promised me greatness!”
“You are great, my chil—” Her words were cut off by the low warning.
“I’m not your child.” ^
“Go.”
“Stop this.”
“Let go of me!”
“Please, don't do this…”
“Go! Get out of here! Run!”
“What’s going on in that head of yours?”
“Revenge? It won't bring you peace.”
“You shoot anyone who comes through that door who isn’t me, clear?
“I’ll keep you safe.”
“Listen to me… I need to go back out there. But I promise you, I’ll be back. Okay? All I want you to do is stay hidden and I’ll be back before you know it.”
“I knew you’d feel guilty. But you do understand that I’d take a thousand wounds if it meant keeping you safe, don’t you?
“Who did this to you? Where are they!?”
“It’s alright… It’s okay… I’m here now. I’ve got you.”
“You know, you’re really hot when you’re angry.”
“I used to want to kill you. Now? I just want to kiss you.”
“I don’t like you. I just barely tolerate you.” - “...Then why do you keep coming back?”
“I don’t think you’re evil.” - “You… Don’t?” - “No. I think you’re lost, misguided. And don’t know anything else.”
“I don’t recognise you anymore. I… can’t recognise you anymore…” - “You wouldn’t.”
“Have you… ever wished I were different?”
“I just…” … “I don’t want anything bad happening to you…”
“I’m… Afraid of losing you… Okay?”
“Yeah. You just keep telling yourself that bullshit.”
“If I could be a different person, I promise you, I would.”
“You won’t survive out there. They tear all good things apart.”
You think I’m weak because I’m not you.”
“I look at you, and my heart breaks. Because all I see, is loneliness.”
“You’re not at war anymore, you can come home now.”
“Are you jealous? Want me all to yourself, do you?”
“I don’t… I don’t think, I’ve ever seen you smile...”
“I… Didn’t know where else to go…”
“Promise me, you will still be here when I wake up…”
“It’s just a scratch, don’t worry.”
“Who.. did this to you!?”
[Name]! You-You’re bleeding!”
“Where did you get that bruise?”
“Hey! Hey! Stay awake, okay? Stay awake!”
“Are you… Fucking serious!?”
“You have no power over me.” … “You sure about that?”
“You run your mouth without giving a moments thought about how people might feel.”
“No, I don’t think I’m right, because I know I’m right!”
“You don’t get to talk to me like that.”
“Arguing with you is pointless if you’ve already made your mind up.”
“I needed you! I… I fucking needed you! And you weren’t there!”
“I told you no one would come for me.”
“No! Don't go! It can't be the end, you can't decide everything for us… I do love you!”
