Until it's time to really twist the knife in someone. Then she greatly enjoys putting on the air of showing kindness or tenderness, just for the mockery of it. The sarcastic make-believe sweetness she can adopt as she's backhandedly insulting someone throwing salt in their wounds just makes her actions that much colder.

And some headcanon stuff: Since Regency era women couldn't inherit their fathers' titles, Millicent Thorne had to marry a man when she was young for the sole purpose of him taking her father's title. There is a non-zero chance she poisoned this husband soon after. But he had it coming.

She isn't terribly 'romantic' really. She doesn't care for bouquets of roses and getting dressed up and big over-the-top evenings.

Her ideal date would be with someone she has grown comfortable with, someone she feels on even footing with. And it mainly consists of spending time together. A nice simple meal, a walk somewhere, just talking would even be ideal. All she would wish for would be for someone who looks at her the way she looks at them.
