Make cute 3D mushroom cookies that will transport you to a magical woodland realm. These charming cookies are ideal for nature enthusiasts and themed parties.
Ingredients: 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour. 1/2 teaspoon baking powder. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened. 1 cup granulated sugar. 1 large egg. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Red gel food coloring. White gel food coloring. Cocoa powder.
Instructions: Mix flour, baking powder, and salt together in a bowl with a whisk. Put away. Mix the butter and sugar in a different bowl until the mixture is light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix them in well. Mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients one at a time until a dough forms. Separate the dough into two pieces. Leave one part alone and color the other part with red gel food coloring until you get the color you want for the mushroom caps. Put both pieces of dough in the fridge for at least an hour after wrapping them in plastic wrap. Start by heating the oven to 350F 175C. Make a ball out of a small amount of the red dough. Flatten the bottom and make the top round to make it look like a mushroom cap. Put on a baking sheet that has parchment paper on it. Do it again with the rest of the red dough. Roll out a small piece of the plain dough into the shape of a stem. Mount the stem on the baking sheet and connect it to the base of the mushroom cap. For 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are just beginning to turn golden, bake the cookies. For a few minutes, let the cookies cool on the baking sheet. Then, move them to a wire rack to cool completely. Use white gel food coloring to make spots on the mushroom cap that look like a 3D mushroom after the cookies have cooled. To make them look more real, sprinkle cocoa powder on top of the mushroom caps. Now it's time to eat your Woodland 3D Mushroom Cookies!
