I dont know what kind of mutism I have but I feel like I can't talk because its uncomfortable for me even if im around people im comfortable with. I can manage a whisper but its hard to do even if im by myself. Im also apart of a system so maybe there's a specific name for it that I haven't found?

Alters in our system have 2 moods. 1. Hate our mom. 2. Scared of of our mom. This has happened a couple time where we needed tos switch. our mom is.. doing better?? letting us use AACs/TTS sometimes. we're trying to get her use to it.

we have a new alter named Eli, and someone that we thought was a friend made him feel like shit because he can’t speak. He is nonverbal, and can only communicate with writing and texting. This person fully just left the call when he fronted, because he realized that Eli couldn’t speak. If someone can’t speak, don’t make fun of them. Don’t make them feel less than. Don’t be a horrible person.

Just watched

Acrylics and Aether’s “Mute Alters and Why they’re mute” video. It was really cool.

I wish we had an email account so we could reply to it.

We have a mute, but as soon as you attempt to get them to communicate they will retreat. Their sole purpose seems to be to keep us silent. And they only come out when we’re overwhelmed with input.

Does anyone else have an inner folk like that?
