Little prequel to the Prime's Promise! :>

Kinda following the events of Bumblebee (2018) where OP and Bee are separated on Cybertron and reunited on Earth again, but in between these events, Bumblebee lost his voice. This is how I imagine Optimus would to react to that fact.

B-127 whined as more energon pooled from his intake, his servo weakly clutching up against it, as if it would stop the leak.

A pede pushed against his back strut and groaned out in pain, his pathetic cries ending up in static. A servo went to yank his sensitive sensory horns, and there was nothing he could do but cry out in pain.

All was but a blur wheen he heard those around him seem to laugh at his agony.

B-127 was terrified.

He just wants all of this to stop.

Why is there so much fire?

Why is he crying so much?

Imagine the tfa, gen one, and tf one bumble bee meeting the other bumblebee's that can't talk, and those same bumblebee's telling the three of them in sign:

"count your days"

What they would mean when signing that is for the other bumblebee's to count their days before they end up like them.

Edit: especially tfo bee, since I heard someone say that the team for tfo once said that bumblebee hasn't lost his voice yet.

But you know how Bumblebee “speaks” using voice clips, radio snippets, and songs, right? At least in some adaptations where he’s kinda mute.

What if he used internet memes, vines, and shit like that?

I can just image:

“Road work ahead? Uh, yeah! I sure hope it does!” (Banter with allies)

“Ahh! Stop! I could’ve dropped my croissant!” (Got spooked)

“WTF IS UP KYLE!!” (Heckling Decepticons)

“Hi! Welcome to Chili’s!” (Greeting allies)
