My name is Zoë (she/her) and I'm the proud owner of two German Shepherds.

Ziva is my oldest. She's a byb saddleback GSD and is fiercely protective of her personal bubble. She currently does AKC scent work, trick routines, and goes on lots of outdoor adventures. Though she used to be an assistance dog, one-too-many dog attacks and her progression into old age led to her retirement at 8 years old. You'll often see her pictured wearing fun muzzles!

Zadie is my youngest. She's a well-bred working line sable GSD and is a bit of a menace (said with love). She's my do-it-all dog; so far, we've done agility, disc, weight pull, herding, working detection (bedbugs), conformation, fastCAT, and dock diving. We are also a working assistance dog team and I'm grateful for her help everyday.

As for myself, I'm a self-proclaimed emo kid young adult. I'm bilingual and love to read, nerd out about medieval fantasy, and dance professionally.

Imagine if you were a sheepdog that has to muzzle itself to not bite the sheep that it’s supposed to take care of even if they hurt it. Can you imagine it?? Do you even need to???

Transmasc whose attachment issues are so bad he sees himself in the character of a kicked mutt, the muzzled dog who didn’t mean to bite. He sees himself in the concept of the reluctant dog all while having no fondness for real dogs. The irony of it makes me giggle.

Mango got an early Christmas present. A new leather muzzle that actually fits! Even only having it on for a few minutes it was clear she preferred it to the baskerville. So much lighter and less clunky.

Hey fyi muzzled dogs are good dogs. This is for our safety and possibly yours. Keep in mind that everyone muzzles for a different reason. Some dogs are scavengers, some are aggressive, some are fear reactive, and some just have big feelings. A lot of training goes into muzzling a dog for longer than a few minutes.

Adventures with my SD prospect and my friends service dog. First big trip out with his muzzle and he did great. Working on ordering a custom one to fit better.
