life update

hi y'all I disappeared for a while for personal reasons, but I'm back now with some good news!

a. I HAVE A PARTNER and I love them so, so much. they used to have an acc here but they deleted their acc a while back so I cannot link you to them. :/ however this is the first irl relationship I've had so I'm scared & excited. we have our first date on Monday or Tuesday I think

b. I'm on new meds that don't make me feel like I'm dying

c. my term is almost over!

d. I've started exercising more regularly & I'm trying to eat more bc apparently I haven't been eating nearly as much as I thought I was oof

e. I move out of my abusive household in a little over a month & I have plans to sell things of mine so I can earn some money to set aside

Do you ever have a person

Who just makes you so happy to talk to, to see, that you just get a bubble of happy in your chest? And then as you talk to them or see them it just gets bigger and it kind of hurts but it's a good hurt because you're just so happy to have them in your life? And it kind of hurts to breathe but in the way the air on a crisp autumn morning is painful to breathe but so fresh and wonderful? And you just love the person so much that the happy-pain is overwhelming and you feel like you can't talk but you need to talk and let them know how much they mean to you?

My datemate said something very insightful about the clones and their supposed ‘defects,’ how Palpatine and the Kaminoans and most of the Republic only saw them as tools, expendable, objects. They pointed out that the clones were 'defective’ as soon as they were put into use. They chose names, they formed attachments to their squads and their Jedi, who would then put their own lives on the line time and again for their troopers. The clones called each other 'brother,’ they joked and cared and showed courage and made choices and became more than their programming. As my datemate said:

“They did one thing wrong, and they did it very well: they were human.”
