Terribly late post for a later than expected workout:
Trying a new schedule so I can better fit in my runs and yoga through the week.
Arms/Chest were focus today. Did pretty well even though gym was packed around midday. Even managed an awkward pic of me on decline bench press.
Play of the game: Not super sure on the title or band but an appropriate spooky song for October. Though I've never truly watched it(was more of an Angel person) the theme from Buffy the Vampire Slayer is a great song to workout to. Definitely gets you moving.
Last bit I'll probably make a better post about it later but it is my go to lifting guide for arms and chest. Courtesy of Gymaholic website. I do make some adjustments that better fit me depending on the day. Still a good reference, always lift safely.
texas method, wk 1 day 1
current 5RMs: squat: 145# bench: 82.5# deadlift: 160#
wednesday, 2/25/2015: volume day squat: 3x5 @ 90% 5RM bench: 5x5 @ 90% 5RM deadlift: 1x5 @ 90% 5RM
notes: it felt easy. legs are kinda sore. a lot less grueling than i expected. will probably adjust to a 4x5 squat @ 90% 5rm for week 2. looking forward to recovery day.

Been pretty consistent with the gym now I'm back at uni. I deadlifted 64kg 1rm today which I'm very happy with! I'm sure I can go up but my grip fails me so I'm thinking of getting some straps, mebbe?
I'm interested in the 'ultimate grips' on myprotein, anyone tried them?
