It’s late at night and I am watching The Fall Guy completely legally and I am having Coltland twins thoughts.

Fun fact: Colt’s fall canonically happened in a NASA jumpsuit.

So here’s a little what if.

I’m imagining that when it happened, the costumes department let him keep the suit, and he held onto it. He shoved it in the back of a closet for a while, not wanting to look at his worst mistake.

Then, Ryland calls him that he’s working on research for a space mission (doesn’t give details since Project Hail Mary is confidential)

Colt pulls the jumpsuit out for the first time since the fall, and is like “hey we match!” and sends a selfie of him in the NASA gear.

Ryland laughs and is like “nice, but I’m not going in space. I’m just researching.” Still, Colt starts wearing the suit once in a while, being able to ignore its bad connotation to show support for his brother.

Then, Project Hail Mary gets released to the public and Colt sees that Ryland was on the ship. Once more he can’t stand to wear the jumpsuit.
