tonight's concoction #myconcoction with lemongrass, ginger, mint, lemon and honey.

feeling sick and miserable. there was this french family eating at the restaurant and the daughter reminded me of myself as a teen. i spent the whole shift looking like a ghost thinking about all the unnecessary suffering my parents got me through and how i wish they just wouldn't love me and were indifferent towards my existence, instead of punishing me for being ill and not the daughter they wanted.

the cook probably saw me looking like someone just got shot in front of me and taught me how to make rolls with rice paper, and then i found a brand new cigarette box on the floor, so it's not that bad. i still feel super sick like i'm about to get the flu tho.

added caper water & lemon juice & a sprinkle of salt to my water & it tastes So Weird but also extremely delicious. But it’s not the taste that’s delicious it’s the hydration factor 3000 💦💦💦

Shit! I totally meant to take a picture before diving in... whoops, too much of a #foodie eff waiting to document... On deck tonight is honey bourbon marinated chicken over carrot, chick pea, sweet potato and fig freekah salad with lemon labneh, and a side of Brussels sautéed in American honey topped with Parmesan...
