My Clerkship Prayer;

For a blessed Sunday, just wanna share with you my “Clerkship Prayer” that has kept me grounded and provided me grace everyday and night of my duty at the hospital. It has been my wallpaper during tough times and good ones, and has been providing me with so much strength each day that passes by.

Each time I solemnly say… “Today I am praying for guidance in all that I do, in people I will be working with and for the people I will be encountering. Bless me, Oh, Lord. May your grace shine upon me always. Give me wisdom to discern what is right along with perseverance, patience and confidence to accomplish and learn from each day as it passes by. May you give me strength and power to overcome any hardship and obstacle. For with you, I am and will always be strong. Amen.”

We woke up early, on this crisp but sunny day, we got dressed and made our way to @lpquk. R chose an organic sourdough multi-grain and I went for a gluten free bread. Once we were back home we took everything we could find out of the fridge and cupboards, whilst I made fresh coffee R was in charge of the scrambled eggs. The table was set and we could finally start our Sunday brunch. Toasted a day crispy bread with melted butter, smoked salmon and eggs with pepper on the side, that's how I like my bread. Today #wearerare was able to #giveback to the community and support our local #lawenforcement who can distribute these wonderful blankets to children in #orangecounty Florida. These blankets donated to our foundation in 2016 were once featured in Neiman Marcus and the donation was a value of over $5000.00 Thank you to #mydailybread for this kind donation that has served our children and families through the years and now will be shared with our local #orlando community.
