The swim is definitely my least favorite part of a triathlon. I didn’t grow up swimming and only really learned how during college. I stick with short sessions of about 35 minutes because that’s usually when my attention span snaps. I know it may seem like I’m always happy go lucky with my workouts but with swimming that’s just NOT the case. And I’m okay with that. Triathletes will tell you they “love” every part of the race, because we are all uber competitive, but if you really push them they’ll fess up and tell you the truth.
