Summary:
Private Dufour thought his death would mean an end to marching, muskets, and misadventures but, apparently, the afterlife had other plans. In the Army of the Beyond, even deceased soldiers must follow orders — and now he and his comrades have stumbled upon an Englishman named Goodsir, who can’t speak French to save his life (or, more accurately, his death). Is Goodsir a friend, foe, or just a doctor of bread, dogs, and hair like he says he is?
A fic for the Napoleonic Tumblr RP community. Love ya. 😘
This story follows on chronologically at an unspecified time skip after Duroc and Bessie’s house gets burned down by Marmont’s hellfire.
