Any of you guys who grew up with narsasistic and abusive parents, have any of you heard this line; I have to love you but i dont have to like you. :)

When we call out people’s toxic behavior, the usual reaction from them is to blame us rather than taking responsibility for their mistakes.

In some cases, they even point out some irrelevant life and imagined hurt and play a victim card while showing themselves on moral high ground.

Never fall in their trap. Stand firm in your ground by being assertive and repeating the truth without feeling any guilt.

trying to work on my communication because i grew up in an environment where talking back was disrespectful & silence was all that was acceptable after getting scolded. love was given based on obedience.
