the absolute sick feeling of konan realizing that obito manipulated every event - from the formation of akatsuki to nagato's rinnegan.
her entire life - her loves ones entire lives - would have been so different.
something about people realizing that if it was not for obito, things would be so different (from kakashi's cycle of trauma, kyuubi's awakening, kushina and minato's death, naruto's trauma and childhood - literally everything).
and even more insane feeling when you realize that obito was also used and manipulated.
naruto just being a - everyone is being manipulated <3 free will is dead <3
naruto's fate being decided as the child of the prophecy may or may not have been true - but that very "prophecy" led to minato's seflish decision of sealing kurama inside him, pushing the weight onto him before the boy was even 12 hours old.
from then it was just people pushing their responsibilites and expectations on naruto and the poor baby taking them all on because if he does all this NOW he will finally be loved, accepted and seen by all!
this show makes me sick to my stomach. i wish i could hold naruto in my arms and keep him away from every single chara (iruka you are in the safe, come on in - the one chara to ever care about naruto. who never told him that he HAS to achieve something, only to be happy and chase his dreams)
I had to write this down for my own sanity 🤡 it will be posted in parts.
A child grows up with a painful beginning. He watches the hatred that people have for him. He is scared. The world fills you with pain and hatred after all. But the child, child that he is, sublimates this hatred, the baggage of transferred negative emotions, into pranks. He is toiling all day to put his energy into pretty big pranks for his size and age. He needs to expend these negative emotions and the pranks are mighty useful. He has his moments of doubt but there is this nice teacher that looms over him.
Iruka (inspired by Kakashi). Iruka comes with his share of pain too. But Iruka wants to let go of his pain and this is the message he hard-codes into this child through his own example. Letting go becomes this child’s strength. With restored resolution, he wants to reign above hatred (his own as well). He wants tto challenge the world’s hatred (for himself and for themselves). He wants to prove them wrong. But the child’s test of resolution is far from over.
He meets another child. This child is the opposite of him in every sense. Sasuke is smarter and he clings to hatred instead of hope. Naruto hates him but recognizes himself in this child. So he leans towards turning him into himself (by making him his friend) and it is a primal process because it has to be. You cannot solve it through words. There is no thought. There is no ‘talk’. They act like the small boys they are. They display peak small boy behaviour through play-fighting. It is both love and hatred. There relationship is a mixture of their dualities, their identites, but Naruto wins (wait for it) and it feels right (black bubble ends into the white bubble). Sasuke might be stronger but Naruto is stronger at a spiritual level. Yet Sasuke is a challenge to Naruto’s beliefs. Naruto will always try to bring him to his side.
But Sasuke escapes and remains an unresolved threat to Naruto’s identity for the rest of the episodes.
To be continued 🧙♀️
Naruto and Sasuke’s relationship
Black and white. Despair and hope. Malignancy and benevolence. Pain and love. Solitude and sociability.
i loove hashimada. One question.... do you think the pairing was intentional by Kishimoto? Or he just exaggerated in the "bromance"? I really beleive the author meant a romantic but tragic innuendo between them. But as this it's a shonen, he made it as explicit as he could.
Hello! Thank you for asking. Firstly excuse me, I don’t understand what you mean under the “bromance”?What about intentions, I think it was demi-conscience. Formally Naruto is shonen but it seems now what the ancient distinctions in many mangas are blurred. Manga is a commercial thing, it needs to catch the most of public possible, not only boys but girls too. And the girls are often fujoshi. So different hints, suspense, open possibilities, fan service make their appearance. On the surface Madara-Hashirama relationship is a simply friendship story. But if one need the proofs what it was much more deeper and complicated he can find a lot of details in this sense. Founder’s part of Naruto is very special, clearly for elder readers than typical shonen public. What’s why it may be easily interpreted in adult sense. The author recognized himself what he lost control of Madara’s character. It was the same with the entire Madara’s life story. It becomes a real romance. Sometimes literature characters obtain their own logic and start independent life in people's mind. Remember famous Sherlock Holmes case: readers forced Sir Arthur Conan Doyle to ressurect their favorite hero. Unfortunately we can’t revive Madara in canon however nothing forbids us to imagine him and Hashirama as we wish them to be.
////// /// ///// Are we living in a simulation? //// // ////
Black Zetsu postulates that the entire shinobi world's history evolved into a fabricated reality created by him - - the Ultimate Mastermind.
Naruto Manga's greatest turnabout of events ignites a rather interesting theory that's been segregating through the millieu of physicists and philosophers; the simulation theory.
Are we living in a simulation?
This theory traces from antichity and more recently it has been brought into attention by Nick Bostrom who suggests that we might be living in a computer simulation.
That's exactly how the fictitious core of the Infinite Tsukuoymi's narrative: a fabricated illusion that whooshes the entire world into a conjured-up fairytale which becomes every character's own version of reality; and the 'God' of the simulation - - Uchiha Madara - - operates the reality using extraterrestrial (not coincidental) resources that far exceed the available shinobi limits (Chakra has been rendered via extraterrestrial sources - - the chakra fruit).
A counter-argument to invalidate this empirically unverifiable theory is the resources problem: to postulate that we're living in a simulation, the energy required to fine-tune the entire universe is enormous and must transcend the one of the universe itself. Which Uchiha Madara supposingly acceded by becoming the Ten Tail's host. And thus he gained enough resources to create a simulated reality for every shinobi to live in, with seemingly no way to ever verify whether they live in a simulation or not. Everyone is presented as consciously accept their summoned IT reality or rather... They can't find a way out off the system.
Sasuke is the only person in the world that's capable to 'bug the system' as accessing the same energy resources as Uchiha Madara and thus wending his way to IT 'immunization' - - it's not clear but suggested en route during his fight with Itachi when he broke the TSUKUYOMI that Sasuke is capable to break out of the simulated reality and return to the base reality. He's only shown not to fall into it which virtually places him on the same level with the Mastermind of the simulation - - Uchiha Madara - - but with less resources to conjure a dream of this scale.
Madara too is being presented as yet another avatar created by Black Zetsu as programmed and operated by a Greater God. Kishimoto-sama confuses us even more presenting both pros and cons to the simulation theory.
Remember 'Izanami and Izanagi?' Itachi put a repenting Kabuto into a simulated reality that runs exactly like a computer program with a set of empirical rules of mathematics and physics; he even explaines how to break the loophole en detail! 😱
Kishimoto-sama gleaned the shinobi's way out of the simulations via consciousness; supposingly that the reality can be simulated but we perceive it as reality through our consciousness (our consciousness is real and can't be simulated, only manipulated).
I find this new theory that the Manga approaches I am such an untutored ignoramus for not catching it the first time and enfolds as exciting snd intellectually challenging ✒️
I'm even tantalizing the idea of developing the simulation theory into a new fanfiction. Why it I make my favorite heroine Sakura quest the origins of the sentient beings as she starts to doubt her surroundings and entertain the idea that she's living inside a fabricated reality? Who'd the Mastermind be? What's the philosophical and empirical evidence she uses as to prove it? Can she escape the illusion and more importantly...
... Is she right?
This unverifiable theory invites new exhilarating fanfiction plots.
