Every night before I go to sleep I tape my mouth using @lipsealtape because i mouth breathe while sleeping due to an over bite that was most likely formed throughout childhood because I was a mouth breather and living with a smoker so my system was in chronic fight or flight mode. Mouth breathing has long-term detrimental health risks. It causes a reduction in the ability to use oxygen and water (we lose tons of moisture through mouth breathing) and is the primary feature of chronic degenerative diseases. Health is dependent on your cells' ability to use oxygen and water to make energy, manage energy, and eliminate wastes, aka ‘metabolism’. The inability to use oxygen and water is anaerobic metabolism or ‘increased acid burden’. Moral of the story, breathe through your nose at all times. #nasalnitricoxide #nitricoxide #nasalbreathingisbest #co2 #subtlebreath (at New York, New York) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bo1hqJ7gwri/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1doosu1ucfnea
