I again interrupt your pokemon spam with old digital art. Really old digital art. But probably the first time I dropped lines all together and relied solely on the rendering. Kind of a precursor to my current style. And OH SANITY did it take me forever.

Honestly, the first time I did this? I thought I’d never be able to do digital art. It must’ve taken 40+ hours. All the techniques and short cuts and just plain getting better since then make such a difference now. I know speed shouldn’t be a big factor in art. But for me, with so many ideas all the time, I needed to get faster. I had too much I wanted to do. And boy did I. I’m pretty sure I could do a piece like this now in a third the time or less. It gets easier. It really does. But its hard at first, and takes work.

Anyways... This is Nath. In an alternative universe outfit at that, not even her canon one. But oh does it look so good.
