Thyme is an incredible herb with an infinite amount of uses, this post only targets a short list of them! As per common knowledge, thyme is an incredible antibacterial. It can be used in the form of a compress (a towel or scrap of fabric soaked in its tea or diluted essential oil), both warm or cold to soothe and heal cuts, burns, boils or any external injuries and infections. A warm bath with the herb works too, this can help benefit any larger infections like rashes and can help relax muscles and bones (it also makes skin softer and smell good!) For eternal remedies use thyme tea. To make thyme tea use (rinsed, to wash off bacteria or pesticides) thyme leaves and place them in boiling water to infuse (time is relevant to the strength of the brew you're aiming for, an average infusion would be 2-3 minutes). Drink with some honey for extra antibacterial, this can be used for throat infections, a mouthwash for tooth or mouth infections (such as ulcers) and many others. When using boiling water or any other dangerous instruments in this task please be careful and always check for allergic reactions before starting. Otherwise, enjoy!!
