just incase anybody has been wondering what i've been getting up to the past 20-ish days, i've been pondering on what nauseated attraction partnership could be called. (i've also just been busy...) these are my suggestions, and my notes regarding them: (additionally, as far as i'm concerned -mate and -friend are interchangeable so swapped variants, ie: nauseamate instead of nauseafriend, are also on the table.)
- nauseafriend (bit on the nose, don't you think?) - sickfriend (has been given a flag previously, nervous it may be used for something else) - gagfriend (sounds a bit risque, don't you think? otherwise i like it quite a lot) - squeamfriend, ejectafriend (getting a little too far from nausea) - retchmate (due to retch being already the word for crush, it's kind of like if you called your partner a crushfriend. i'm sure some people do do that, i just think it sounds stupid.) - emetofriend (just sounds a bit clinical to me.) - queasymate (i have no qualms with this, actually) - pukefriend, vomitfriend, barfmate, bilefriend (i'm trying to stay away from explicit mention of throwing up without alternative), purgemate (connotations), regurgefriend (just a bit wordy)
any suggestions? preferences?
